Partway through the first trial it seems evident that a fair bit of laudable effort has gone into it. As an event it seems more spectacle than participatory in nature.
Although the audience was requested to remain silent for the duration it seemed impossible for some in the gallery to refrain from injecting themselves into the proceedings starting with unspoken reactions on to unspecified whispering and on into outright verbal interjections. (I myself suffered from flatulence at one point.)
It does seem to be going pretty well despite all that.
