Activation email

Does it usually take a long time to receive the email with the activation link? Hour? Day? Screen says it has been sent but it hasn't arrived.

since the server just got back up after some unexpected down time, we have no way right now to know what the state of the mail server is. there have been issues with it before. you could try using another email and see if that helps at all.

I've registered my account this morning, without problems.

Try to have written the email address correctly, and if you have received the mail in the "ignored" folder (like me, for example).

I'm sure I typed my address correctly. Asked for an email resend as well. Still nothing. Well I've been waiting for the server to come up so this is just a bit more waiting.

make sure they are from different providers.  for example, www.gmail.com

The first was my usual mail account and the second was a yahoo mail account. Still nothing and its been four hours since I requested the last one. Oh well.
I'll have to think of something else.

Don't know if anyone mentioned this or not, but don't forget to check your spam folder.  Yahoo automatically places it in a spam folder as do several other companies.

This may not work for everyone, but I had 3 messages in my spam folder all from Planeshift and never even knew.

Patience is my middle name. Two different email accounts and nothing at either(or in the junk/spam).

Perhaps maybe make a gmail account? Because it is known to work. Or hotmail, it seemed to work fine for me.
