EASY FIX FOR XP!

HERE WAS WHAT MY PROBLEMS WERE...

HERE IS WHAT I DID TO FIX IT

1.)   First i had to Download Windows installer 3.0
http://files.filefront.com/Windows+Installer+30+Redistributable+English/;4952811;/fileinfo.html

2.)   Next i got Microsoft Visual C++
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/thankyou.aspx?familyId=32bc1bee-a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&displayLang=en

3.)   Then i had to get Openal32.dll
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/openal32.zip?0VEfRBYHfT
(i actually DID need the openal32.dll you may or may not!)

4.)   After that i had to alter the updater config (change "false" to "true")

5.)   Finally I ran the updater...WAITED...Now i am playing

Then i had to get Openal32.dll

you DO NOT need to download this dll from anyone other then the updater when you run it.

I also didn't get the OpenAl.dll.

As every one has been told there is no need to download the dll manually, if you follow the instructions in Caarries thread that is stickied at the top of this board  http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=33701.0 the updater will install openal32.dll but as stated it may require several runs of the updater to collect all the files
