Until that, you can of course add all guild mates to your Buddy List; you are already notified about joining and leaving buddies...
Thinking about that, I wonder if a program option ("(•) Add guild mates to buddy list") could automatically display them there, maybe in another different (sky-blue?) color. -- I'll make a BT feature request (if not already present).
