auto teleport upon falling so far

many places with common declip problems such as leaving beneath laanx's temple

My wish is that instead of using /die and ending up at your respawn location with the curse

is that when you fall beneath a certain height you get teleported back to your starting location.

i dont know how GM's normally deal with this (teleport people somewhere near by on the surface of the land), but there is hardly ever a GM on while im playing

Rest assured, the moment one of us gets on, we get swamped with "I fell off the world, can you move me to.. pleaase?" or "I can't cross this border, map is missing, could you...?!?"
We're really doing what we can to cope with the situation.
The current falling-off behavior is a bug. It used to port you to the last valid position just as you suggest, thus it's not really an item for the wishlist but belongs to the bugtracker (which it is already since a couple weeks).

there have been several fixes in the past to keep you from going all the way back to your characters spawn point, one of them is to make you respawn at the map respawn point. Once the game is futher progressed in code and art i bet things like this will be reverted as they will no longer be needed.
