Introduction + A few simple questions.

Well, first off, I would like to say "YES!" I've been searching for a game with an idea like this for a looong time. Every other game has strings attached. So, my questions are:
My computer has a dark screen so this site's color scheme is a bit hard, any way to change it on my screen like on other forums?

I want to help contribute by writing background stories/quests/dialogue as I feel very motivated to help a game like this. (It's possible for players to help out if I read it correctly?) and I technically do not have 2+ years as a dungeon master/similar role in a pen+paper game but have written my own medieval stories in the past just for fun. I have written quite a few over many years. I have played some pen and paper RPGs but have mainly made my own games to play with my friends. Does this give any footing if I want to help write text for the game?

The 2+ years of DMing is just a recommendation, not set in stone. Writing for Settings (Lore) has little to do with actual P&P, so it is not a high priority on our list. Many things, such as writing stories, histories, and general information do not need any DM skills at all.

Apply and give a few samples of your writing. Can't hurt to try.
