server crashes every 30-45 minutes

Is this a feature or is something else going on? every 30 to 45 minutes, the server stops responding and closes the game automatically. If I start it up right away it shows "failed" and I have to wait a few minutes before it responds again.
This is very annoying having to restart and wait and then restart again and wait...

Is there a fix in progress for this?

(and before someone mentions it, it is not on my side as I am a PC and network tech so I know it is not anything on my side.)

Its a beta game with a low version number the sever software goes through periods of unstability, patience is the only fix

For the sake of adding my 2 tria, and maybe having it improve something, the same thing happens to me. However my laptop, presario 2500 2.4 xp does it more often. Desktop Hand built 2.8 xp with much more memory and the dreaded radion card does it much less. Lappy connects wireless while desktop is wired, both through the same router. Usually if I am running both lappy crashes first and then desktop, but I have had desktop not crash when lappy did. Maybe it has something to do with losing the ping?

I can fuddle my way through working on my own stuff but am in no way an expert. Maybe this will help though.

I would highly recommend using wired connections where possible. Any number of things can interrupt your wireless signal causing a message of "server not responding, try to reconnect in 5 minutes". Unfortunatly, the last week or so, the server has been a bit unstable again. If you want to verify that it is not just your machine go to:

This page tells not only how many players are on, but if the server is responding. (there is a couple minute lag here with the stats refresh, but still a good indicator to tell you if it is your issue or not). Also, there are graphics that (usually) show the number of players on. It fluxes a bit, but when you see spots where there are zero players online, that is normally a small crash that was automatically recovered.

Looking at the page I referenced, It looks like PS has been down approx 5 times for more than a minute or two in the last 24 hours. Your stats look pretty good to me, so it should not be hardware unless you have a older driver or something for your nVidia card.

I played for over 2 hours today during the daytime (US time) and it never crashed once.... it seems to be in the evenings/night US time (early AM GMT).
