Screen runs off the screen... No my setings are not low...

I have a 1280x800 resolution, and I have stated that in the graphics settings. I have also stated "Full screen".

There is no bottom edge to the screen. (No buttons to select to continue.)

I can get past the NAME creation, but the part about the year... The button is below the screen edge, and the mouse will not reach down far enough to click it.

Seems the game is attempting to "Proportionally" scale the screen to fit the width. As opposed to "Scale to fit the Height, or Width, smallest value."

If I select 800x600 resolution, the game should also fit within, and be playable in 800x600 resolution. There is nothing "Wrong" with "My settings", if "You" have chosen to ignore the request to make the game play in 800x600 resolution. (You ask us for the resolution, not the the desired game-screen size. Resolution is our monitor size, not your drawing area size. Sorry, that "Comment" perturbed me. A majority of the monitors in use are still 800x600. Don't tell us it is "Our fault" or "Our issue", because "You made the choice to adhere to the resolution we selected." If that is not an option, than remove it from the options. The game should state that 1024x768 is a requirement for windowed mode. It is YOUR JOB, if we select 800x600, to force the game into full-screen, if that is a requirement. Or don't allow it to run, since you know it will not be playable.)

I'm not getting the problem. I do not think PS was made to run wide-screen. I could be very wrong. But I think maybe playing windowed is better anyways.

you are right it seems that the configs from pssetup aren't working correctly (it's making the size of the window bigger than it should be also in windowed mode). as a work around use --mode=1280x800 from the command line it will correctly scale for widescreen correctly

EDIT: another fix might be opening pssetup again and fixing the resolution again without touching the radio box custom
