Kran Possession

Kra's or kras? This is something that I've, on many occasions, been unable to figure out. I've seen it used both ways, and it seems like "kras" would work for "his" or "her" simply because it doesn't use the apostrophe.

Kras as in 'its'.
kra's as in it's.
(such an ugly word by the way. And it makes the dialogs very confusing  :whistling:)

"It is kra's"... possessive use of apostrophe... But then that would suggest kra is a name. And you don't go "It is his's" or "It is her's" You say "It is his. It is hers." So yeah, I'd say kras is more correct.

I believe Khoridor has the right of it.

When would you ever use "kra's" then? That word would generally mean "it is", and I've seen it used on occasion in NPC dialog.

"Kra's gonna kill some rats." "I think kra's drunk." "Kra's off to see the wizard."

Ah, I see.

So, kra's = he's
Kras = his

..Those words need a little more differentiation.

English isn't your first language, is it?

Kras is the equivalent of its. Kra's is the equivalent of it's. Simple, really.

He's going to Hydlaa.
She's going to Hydlaa.
Kra's going to Hydlaa.

The book belongs to him.
The book belongs to her.
The book belongs to kra.

The sword is his.
The sword is hers.
The sword is kras.
