Unable to load game

My girlfriend is just starting with PlaneShift, and she can't get the game to load. She has installed it and updated it fine, but it still won't run. When she tries to open the game, she gets a message reading 'Exception_access_violation,' followed by the message 'Save Diagnostic file? yes or no.' After that, the game crashes; it doesn't matter if she chooses yes or no, the result is the same. Can anyone give us a hand?

There's always a hex number following after "Exception_access_violation".

If it matches or there is a similar number, see if there is a solution for it yet.

The number we got is 00925467. It's not logged, but it seems to be the same as 0083BBB9, the crash during startup.

unless the number matches or told otherwise please do not assume that the crash is the _same_ as another just because it happens at the same time or near the same place does not mean it is the same thing or caused by the same thing as the other crash.
