Start issues

Hello, I just downloaded the game via bittorrent and when it finished, I ran the application, a command prompt box popped up for half a second then dissapeared. I am running Vista 32bit

I just downloaded the game and it is not allowing me to update.. It is also saying the client is not responding. I am running Vista and read through all the trouble shooting and cannot seem to figure out why it will not find the client or update can you help me?
