Crashing to desktop 3 seconds after startup no error message

  Client Crashing to desktop 3 seconds after start up no error message.
 I have reinstalled the game fresh from different servers. Checked for latest updates still the same.
 Just starts client for to the very first screen for a few seconds and crashes to desktop with no error at all.
 Was doing nothing but running client which has nothing to do with this problem.
 I am a computer tech so here are my computer stats.

 Been trying for days nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I even checked Event viewer and no report of a system error or application error so it has to be client.

Can you run it from a console (start menu/run type cmd, go to planeshift dir, type psclient.exe) and see if in the end it says something? Many errors are not really errors, but if it says something about !leaf_replaced, it may explain that it does not give an error.

Sorry im not into command lines much just repairing computers and building them.
 Its under C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Steel Blue but it wont let me go into it from command prompt.
 Whats the exact way I should put in it ?

OK, this is what i get after running the updater and starting the game (for a few seconds ).

Oh, i have to mention that the updater didn't find any updates in the first place. I removed the last line in the updaterinfo.xml (the one containing version 4.02); after this the updater started and did the update without any error reports...

The long post wasn't meant to help you, ARREB, but to provide the information Lanarel asked for.

However, the problem is gone for me now. Everything works without problems.

You should be more specific about your problem. Do you enter the game (means: you can see your char and walk a few steps) before the client crashes as it was the case for me yesterday or does the game crash when loading has completed but before you can see your char? In this case you should do what Caarrie suggested. It most probably is a problem with your characters data on the server then and can be fixed by a GM only.

No When client first starts after you click the Exe. thats when the it first starts the first 3 to 5 seconds from the time your click to start the client not the game.

 Never make it no where near into the game. When you first click the client a window pops up that shows a game scene for about 3 seconds and  it closes and i hear a windows dong.

Go to RUN on the start menu, type CMD and hit ENTER,

In the Comand Prompt that appears please type: CD\Program Files\PlaneShift Steel Blue

Then type psclient.exe > C:\error.txt

This will run the game and output a bunch of text to the file C:\error.txt, open that file and sellect all and paste it to the forums inside CODE tags (the button above the smilies with the # picture on it)

 A shame I wonder how many others who gave up on playing this game without even trying to get help as I did.

 Thanks for the bug link.I will look at it but don't hold any high hopes for that but will try.
 this is the only game that doesn't work for me lol any other works great.
 I am playing Rappelz now. May try back in a few months to see if they fixed their client.
