The Death Realm

Is their any way out or am I just stuck there. I can't go on any characters on my mac or the ps client just quits and now my only working one is  stuck in the death realm. (not stuck as in a wall) but lost!

try to get a hold of a gm. it could be that your other characters are stuck in invalid locations and need to be moved to valid ones. There is a route out of the Death Realm, try following other characters or even asking to be led out. If you are completely lost in the dr and cannot see anyone else you can /die and return to the starting point.

Use the Help chat and just type that you are stuck and can't unstick.  The GM will then move you.

GM stands for game master, you can do a /who game in the chat window to see if any are on-line and visible (report will be on the system tab) if not you can make a petition with the information and one will try to get back to you. Perhaps tyhe most effective way if you cannot see a gm on-line is to go on the freenode IRC server channel #planeshift-gmtalk and ask politely for help. there again it may take some time for someone to notice you as people tend to do other things while on irc.

Since this will be read by other new players in same situation...

go to begining of death realm.  /die if you must.

Walk as far as you can.  keep walking... if you can not find the way out, go back near begining, type in "help me please" and wait for someone to come running by... and then hit enter.

Also, I can not tell you how many times I am running through DR and I see someone standing there, I ask if they want help, and I either get lecured about them being busy (dude, walk into library or something, you do realize that people who need help stand there like that, don't you?) or I get no response.  then when I am back in Hydlaa, I get a tell, they were afk for an hour or so..so can I come back and show them the way.

Log off if you are not going to be "awake"? 

All else fails, follow those who seem to know where they are going, just dont be surprised if they take shortcuts you can not take.

Hope that helps some with someone.
