Hmm thats different mathamatics, So if I post count to say 20 add 1 then post again the next time I would have to count the posts in between my last two posts in order to find out how many more I have to add or just add 1 to the amount of posts in between my last two posts? Sounds to complicated I will just interject as I see fit and have a decent silly response to the topic at hand.

If you find a mod locking your thread because it lacks a topic and you believe it does have one, then PM that mod and discuss it like a civilized human being. Assuringly, you will be treated respectfully. Don't go and remake the topic or make one whining about how it got locked. That's something four-year-olds do when their Mommies won't buy them Popsicles

Some of the types of threads not welcome here are:

- Bored Threads
- Counting Threads
- Threads that ask people to answer a question or list a favorite where the answer is only a short sentence, and no discussion is involved

A "question"-type thread that asks a yes/no question but leads to actual discussion would be acceptable. A thread intended for discussion but that descends into yes/no responses and random chatting would be deleted or locked.

Now farbeit for me to fail to make a silly post in a thread dedicated to silliness, or neglect to discuss in a discussion thread but it seems the thread has degenerated to the point where answers are only short sentences and no actual discussion is involved, so by this post I am attempting to redeem your thread with actual discussion--even if in a somewhat ridiculous manner. I also think a lot of the people posting in this thread are generally bored with the forums and have latched on to this in the faint hope that it will generate some kind of mild amusement.

It does seem that after so many years many of the ideas which have previously enthralled have become hackneyed and contributed to a general sense of ennui. Certainly the ideas have (understandably) far outpaced game development and it is hard to come up with new ones until development catches up a little more.

Is there anything we can do to liven the pace of the forum?

Oh hey, I'm not trying to get the thread shut down or anything, I guess some people just do not get a wry sense of humor. Surely the appropriate format for trying to end a thread is a one word interjection such as:

/thread Actually I was trying to exhort the contributers to expand their contributions in order to enhance the thread. Anyway if I really felt the thread to be an abuse I could always report it. I did nothing of the sort.
I merely opted to gently twit the participants.

It seems pretty obvious to me that #55 is in response to #53 which was a response to #49, try to pay attention.
Fish are quite easy to find, there are several mongers in the settled parts of Yliakum and also you can often see them flopping about on the arena floor.
Hopefully that will not be considered too much of a spoiler though, I'd hate to get pan-fried for helping too well, I'm such a rotten cook it might be like a Taste of Death to eat my lunch!

Speaking of whimsy, has anyone ever read The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster? or seen the film? That was marvellously silly, a good read for a young person.
