Invalid Page Faults with Kernel32.dll
« on: April 26, 2003, 09:36:34 pm »
I was trying to upload a character on the new version that it took me 10 hours to download when all of a sudden it stopped. A white non-gui box appeared and said \"Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0197:bff714ac.\" I clicked the \'OK\' Button, but then another popped up and said \"You need to reinstall Windows.\" Lol this is total Bull!

But I can\'t do anything unless this error is gapped. Has anyone else had this error? Are there any measures to fix it that arent \'I guess this will work\' answers?

I am running Win98SE, Intel Celeron 566MHz, 512MB SDRAM, ATI RADEON 7500 64MB PCI BUS version, 56k dialup, and a cool light up mouse that squeaks when you push the button!

According to the read me first, this needs to be on here:

Time: Apr 26, 2003 11:32 AM EST
OS: WIN98SE
Processor: Intel Celeron 566
RAM: 512MB SDRAM
Video Card: ATI RADEON 7500
Vid Card Memory: 64MB
PS Client Version:most recent to date, right after update + install
OPENGL Mode
Desc: When uploading a character and loading the game, the game crashed with the error message \'Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel32.dll at 0197:bff714ac.\' I clicked the OK button, but then a message popped up that sand that I need to reinstall windows. Both fo these boxes were NON-GUI dos based errors. Full white boxes taking up a section of the screen with an OK button. I kicked my computer\'s switch off and on and got on here to tell about it.
