In my capacity as the Octarch's Champion, I hereby announce

The Octarch's Champion's Entertainment Contest

After the outstanding support for Yliakum's guilds by providing houses a little sponsoring of the government, the topic will be

Guild Houses - Blessing or Curse?

All cititzens are invited to present stories, poems, songs, stand-up comedy, jokes et cetera for the purpose of entertaining the Octarch's Champion and Yliakum's people. The Octarch's Champion will encourage this by giving the following awards:

• First prize: 200 circles
• Second prize: 100 circles
• Third prize: 50 circles
• 10 circles consolation prizes will be given for the remaining participants

Apply by sending Orgonwukh a message. The number of presentations is limited to a maximum of five. See further details attached below.

You are asked to enter orderly, and take your places based on the chart below.


The area marked ‘A’ is for observers. Please find a good spot and have a seat.

The area marked ‘B’ is for those who wish to perform. Stand there until you are called, please.

The area marked ‘C’ is for the actual performances. When you are called, move here and give us a good show.
When done, you will be asked to join the others seated in area ‘A’ until the end of the Event.

It might look like a one man show, but it wasn't. Neither IC, nor OOC.
I had a lot of help and I am glad I could rely on some of my helpers. This included brainstorming, planning, and the event itself.

Time for me to say thank you too. First of all thank you Orgonwukh for setting up this event. It was great and a lot of fun. And thanks to all the performers. Without you this would have been a bit boring . The stories, poems and songs were great. Next I would like to thank all the helpers we had. First of all Lhaa for providing Aiwendil with beer before and after the event..and of course for some other, not so important things like helping with the organization, advertising, talking with the GM team about the posters and putting them up, helping me with my poor English and a lot of other things. Then of course thanks to all the people we hired in case of some...troubles among the audience. I'm glad that we didn't need you at all, but thanks for being there anyway. Which brings me to all the people who attended the contest. Thank you for coming, listening and staying In Character all the time. You were all great and I hope most of you had as much fun as I had. And of course thank you GM team for putting up the posters.

And thank you to all the people who had a lot of patience with me during the last days when I was busy with organizing or some OOC chatting about the event.

And excuse me if I forget anyone...Thank you too. A lot people helped with a lot of things. 

Ah..and before I forget it. Thank you to all people who didn't report me for the dress Aiwendil wore. 

This only leave me to say that I'm looking forward to the next event.

You can try to blur out the OOC comment orbetter but harder, replace it with a completely diffferent comment. Also, can somebody post logs?

I will try to clean my logfiles of group chat and some OOC stuff later and post them as well. Just not enough time for that at the moment . And the logs are really long...not sure if they are appropriate for a forum thread.
