First, Caarrie knows MUCH more than me about these things. BUT... if you are loading fine, talking fine, but not moving on in the quest I do not see how it would be a graphics card issue. Keep working with her, she may have another issue I do not see though.
In the meantime. Go to your chatlogs, see what he said EXACTLY and think for a moment what your response should be. Consider what previous NPCs may have told you. In the time you post here and wait for a reply, you could of re-read your chat logs and maybe found the problem. If Baughb sends you to me and tells you "tell Bamko that Baughb sent you" and you come up to me and say "Hi, I am Douhg, give me gold PLZ" I may likely ignore you. But if you say "Baughb sent me" that would be something else entirely. Also, I encourage RP with other players, but save the chit chat for players. Nothing breaks a quest faster than a bunch of extra verbage. When you go to pay with a credit card, and they ask "credit or debit" do you ever say "BANANA!" ? Same thing. They have done a great job on not advancing to a permament broken state on most quests until they get AN acceptable answer, but not all of them may be perfect, and there are acceptable answers that would take you where you do not want to go. (For example again, if y ou said "debit" in the answer above, you better remember your debit pin number... )
So far every quest that I have found broken has been fixed, so I think it is unlikely it is broken. read the chat logs! If still can not get out, check out the tutorial. If you can not get out (and hundrends of thousands before you could... think about that) then you can poke a GM. This is my advice to you and others having this issue.
