i haven't been playing long and i've heard there is sound in planeshift (oxymoron?)
anyway i have seen the thread on the fix for it but i know absolutely nothing about computers so i was wondering if anyone could walk me through t

yes over and over again but when i download the file it wont go into the appdata folder so cant take effect (i think)

i figured it out i just edited the text manually and saved with admin ad now i have lovely sound!!!!

couldn't have done it without your file to copy from thank you!!!!!!!!!! \\o// \\o// \\o// ;D

God, I'd missed this, been without sound for almost a week since I reinstalled windows, probably should have check the forums earlier :D

Edit: I vote that this be added to the 'known fixes to common issues' thread

There is an alternative, more probable theory that 9/11 was in fact caused by Hanson's 1997 smash hit 'MMMBop.'
