If Talad saw fit for there to be two servers so be it. They should be able to work for the player that likes to play PS as he/she wishes. I only hope that there are enough people in PS for the two servers and having them does not destroy Planeshift altogether.

Its the same game and a different server. Being polite is the main requirement. That's definitely too tough for some here. Oh sure, the community isn't over there, but you say it like thats a bad thing.

I am not sure having two servers is a good thing, but it is not for me to say. That is Talad's decision. I just hope that the new players that think Ezpcusa is a better server for them do not miss out on the chance to be a role player. When I started I did not know how to role play. There were wonderful people who taught me. If I had a choice of servers I might have missed out on the opportunity to learn. I also would have missed out on meeting some of the fantastic people I met.

As for being polite, if you role play and stay in IC with the thought that you want to have fun with the community I think being courteous comes naturally.

To me Planeshift is a role play game and always will be. That is my opinion only.

There is a chance that as someone learns to like the game on Ezpucsa they may want to try the game as well on laanx and there will learn what roleplay is about and may start to rp more there. Unless this server has no one playing on it there is almost no way it will be removed, just give it a chance. This server was _not_ put up as a way to split the ps community, it was put up as a way to allow players to test the other options of the game without worrying about the roleplay element of the game.
