game quits to desktop when initialy loading world

i dont know, i havent even started the game yet  from the other posts i understand that there is a tutorial, this happens after creating my character and pressing 'join', even before the tutorial...

download http://planeshift.caarrie.org/Fix%20PS.zip and apply the fix for texture compression and see if that helps. also dont double post or triple post

make sure the above fix is still done or apply it again and see if that helps any.
