Tutorial issues

When I created a new character, he didn't go to the tutorial area. he instead showed up at Hydlaa. I deleted him and remade him. same thing happened. I then made the character in a different race. same thing happened. different part of the city, though. the tutorial stuff still happened. Welcoming me to the tutorial, telling me to walk around and talk to an NPC that should be in front of me, though she was not. Wanted to let you guys know.

this is going to be off topic, but my first character was a Kran, and he started off in the Kran Villiage, but the characters I created started off in the main city. I assumed every race had their own starting place, or was I mistaken?

only those races that have their home town already made spawn there.
