I've decided to set this thread up to act as a creative booster in my spare time. Within I hope to display and categorise the stages I am at whilst creating both 2D and 3D art (amongst other things).

So continuing on I ask for a little help from the community and after having a brief skim around the boards (Mostly finding broken links), I ask this.

What would you like me to create?
For starters ask something simple then expand, I have enough basic knowledge to work well in many media's (along as it doesn't cost too much money).

For time I will section them off into five categories.
 Category 1 being done in a few hours.
 Category 2 being done in either a day or a few days.
 Category 3 being done in a week.
 Category 4 being done in a month.
 Category 5 you have no chance of me ever completing it.

So don't keep me waiting, throw me a bone and see what falls out.

P.S. forgive the spelling and grammar as although English is my native language I am no good at it.

Have a look at the portrait contest (2D), the poster contest (2D) or the glorious city contest (2D/3D) - There's plently to do

I'm sure the guys from the city contest would love to get some additional common items like boxes, torches, tools, benches ...  or maybe even some trees?

Several idea's that I sketched up mostly for a starter before I start branching off.

Ill start off with torches and lanterns.

Common torch affixed to wall holding.
Category 1 although id have to look into the flame effects.


Simple candle holder with candle.
Category 1 same as above with flame effects.


Different heads for the candle holder.


Crystal lantern for fantasy effect.
Category 1


Crystal floating lantern.
Category 1


These are just simple sketches for now I will work more on the ones I chose to develop.
