In general quests should continue correctly now when there is a disconnection, possibly by repeating the last step (say the last thing again). This leaves the cases where saying things is not enough, or if the quest was in fact closed:
- if you gave an item and the server crashes before the npc answers, you need to get the item again to continue. But this can only happen if you are so unlucky that the server crashes after you give the item, but before the npc notices. Try not to give items when the game is laggy.
- You cannot repeat the last step of a quest if the npc thinks you finished it. This means you may not have seen his final response, and in the worst case, not received a reward, especially if a reward selection window was open during the crash. You might try if a GM can help, but it may be difficult to judge if you did not get a reward. Again, try to avoid this when the server is laggy.
