Astonishing Wishlist System (IMHO ;-)
« on: April 29, 2003, 04:36:05 am »
http://oliver.kfs.org/daoc/wishlist.xml

I think organizing data of the Wish List the same way as the site above would be far more clear and useful, for posters, who could easily avoid to repeat ideas already discussed before,  and for the team, who could very easily focus on what really matters. Maybe we could ask Oliver himself, if he wanna join the project by creating our Wish List, what do you think?..   :)

Interesting, but I\'d like it better if there was a \"confirmed\" list. So that way, we\'d know for sure, whats in, and whats not.

The problem with that system is that it doesn\'t look like there\'s enough of a chance to argue out the wish, which often ends up making it much better or pointing out hard to see reasons why it shouldn\'t happen. It seems to me that too many people would generally just read the initial wish and vote before reading what other\'s have to say on it... *shrugs*

Well I guess it will be only matter of oraganizing the elements on the pages a little better, maybe by highliting someway the \"Search\" button (which is at the very bottom of the original page) but, done that, it would be perfect, I guess. What does the dev-team think?..   =-|
