Thinking constructive, i would say, a Planeshift Movie should be a 3D-Animation, because there are too many not-human persons. The voices could be famous actors, also the movements made by motion-capture. The money, the movie get (win) can be used for developing the game. And the title should be another, maybe for a trilogy "Yliakum Chronicles -Part 1/2/3", because Planeshift works bad as story title i think. Ah, and J.J. Abrahms as diretor!
Seriousily, there won't be a professional movie, Planeshift isn't famous enough for that and as free game it shouldn't become a merchandising franchise. But Fan-made movies could be nice things.
