I use windows and when i open the game i hear no sound

hrm weltall this usualy works beter as openal dosn't at all work on some systems, on my it works halfly then the sound dissapears

this might help , i've got it fixed after a long struggle on windows 7. i finally bumped into this and it works now after installing the package specified.
