Planeshift on Windows 7 RC

It will not save a diagnostic file so I decided to screen capture it.

And I also do not have sound in the menu like I did on XP. I have all my drivers and all of the other games I have installed on here work like a charm. Just Planeshift. Figured I would put these details up to help out the Dev Team to prepare for 7. I guarentee a lot of people will be upgrading to 7, it's stable and runs smooth, more smooth then XP.

W7 RC is built on the Vista platform.  Try installing the game outside the program files directory structure since that had issues on Vista.

Also, W7 has full XP emulation built into it.  Set it to run the program in that mode and see if that helps.

A passing thought is that it couldn't save the file because it didn't have rights to save one.  Run the program with admin rights enabled.

Any issues you have with PlaneShift under Windows 7 are either related to PlaneShift (but not Windows 7 specific, but will happen too under Vista) or driver issues.

At least, that has been my experience so far. I have run PlaneShift under Windows 7 since the beta and on two different computers.
We're not evil. We're simply amazing.
