I think it's great. We're finally getting some organized roleplay going on, which is always nice. Could use some more evil though. :P

Thanks to everyone who helped with making this come true.
The only thing I'd like to criticise is that it took such a long time from application to realisation.

Being critical on the time it takes is natural and understandable, but it cannot be helped.

Anyone who thinks things take too long can join us and help out, or, well, wait.

Patience the hidden PlaneShift system requirement.. Time is always problem and always will be for volunteers, I wont vote as that would unfair but if I did I would go for 7 out of 10 mostly because I think we needed some more original ideas to work with.

Edit: Be very helpful if those who do vote give reasons for voting as they have

I give it 8/10. From what I see, the OSP participants are doing their best - nothing is perfect, and there's still plenty of room to improve yet, but so far so good.

I voted 8/10.
Why? It's a great idea, and well executed - this will be a great thing in the future
in that it involves the players "for the good of all"  :D
Later I might want to revise my vote, when we've seen the results of this over time...
"A Perfect Ten"? Definitely possible  \\o//

And patience? Learned that a looong time ago, and it's really required for Bakin in-game,
since I'm studying the Ways, and aiming at becoming a Master in one of them.  :)
But all in all:  :thumbup:

I voted 7/10 as I think it's a really awesome idea that we,the players, can have such a dramatic effect on the entire game world.
It's one of the main attractions of Planeshift.
But, as was said the timing was an issue[it was like 2 years IC :P ]

A few points:

Opening a business such as the Red Crystal Den, the Oupost, etc., can take up to two or three years to get government funding.

For me, the setback is that this option is only available IC for guilds helping the community, and the Octarchy.

It would be cool to see a similar organisation do something for the IC badasses (though they're less common).
