Error Loading Maps?

Ah, yes, I am one of the many newblets who appears to be having problem (but I understand this, as it appears this game is still well under development).

When I try to load the game, it loads my user, something else, and the map, and then it stops responding (hence:  I get the [Not Responding] error on my title bar).

Must I download something?  This game looks very tempting and I\'d be very willing to find out.

This seems to be a very common problem.  My initial guess here is that you do not have a lot of RAM.  This would cause a lot of disk-trashing since it has to use the harddisk a lot.  So it will take a lot longer time to load then the 30s-1min that is the norm.

I have about 768 MB of RAM and it loads ok here.

I have 512 MB of RAM, and I\'d think that\'s enough for about any type of game.

512 ram is enoug, both sdram and ddr

did you updated the game by running the updater? new players often forget that. If you did just ALT-tab the game and surf the net..it can take some time the first time to load
When its ready you will hear the music chaning in another tune ^^

Uhh... I kinda still need help.  Any other suggestions or help or solutions would be GREATLY appreciated, cuz this game looks pretty awesome and I want some.

You could try and check if there is a minor update (run the updater.exe file), and then you could just let it work on that Initializing World for a little time... First time is allways the worst... Go grab some food while it is working, and see if you\'re lucky.

I did that right before trying to get in.  The biggest problem I fear is the fact that immediately after \'Initializing World\' comes up, it goes to a \'[Not Responding]\' state.  I have no clue why this happens, and my current migrane keeps my brain from even beginning to fathem what the problem could be.  Anybody who knows anything about the interior design of the game have an idea?  Do the Devs check these forums regularly?
