Halcyonic Bulwark
First off, let's start out with the meaning of my guild: Halcyonic meaning tranquil or prosperous. Bulwark, in this case we took the definition of safeguard, or inpenatrable defense.
Purpose:
Formed for a new beginning, one of peace and lack of controversy. They are open to any race and feel the need to protect and help those who are innocent, too weak to defend themselves, or are just in need. (And for clarification, -help- doesn't mean just -fight.- There are many different professions within the guild to suit -everyone's- taste. You could help someone defend themselves if you were in the warrior profession, help someone by smelting/making stock for them if they're new and need it for a quest and ask nicely and you are a crafter..or even making weapons for markets, help someone by healing them if you are studying magery, etc.) They always work together to get through everything. Communication, trustworthiness, devotion, respect and ability to speak their minds is what holds them together.
Many times you will see a few of them together in hunts. They love to explore and go hunting for beasts out in the vast plains. They have many different openings within their group, varying from a beginner to a crafter, mage, fighter. Once they prove their worth (trustworthiness, devotion, respect) and ability they move up and earn a higher position within the guild. However, if someone doesn't hold true to what they expect, the necessary action will be used.
Recruitment:
It isn't hard to join Halcyonic Bulwark. If you approach one of it's members whom has the control, or can get someone who has the control, to recruit and you speak to them and show that you are in it for the right reasons, you will more than likely have a spot. There is no race specification or gender. Just be nice, loyal, respectful, and trusthworthy and you have a spot. This doesn't mean you can't have an attitude or aggression about you when it comes to people doing wrongs to the innocent and our own.
Ranking:
The Guild Point System: It works opposite of giving guild points. When you first join at Novice level you are given 100 gp. Once you choose profession you move to 50 gp. Then you will work your way down by doing events/rp's with the guild, for the guild until you get to 10 gp. Once you reach that stage you are evaluated (skill requirements) and possibly put through a test to see if you are ready for your promotion to master status. If you are, you get moved to 5 gp and work your way down to 1. Which is the -highest- level you can get in gp. That is when you know you are true master and fill your role as one. (Should a change of profession take place you will be fairly put into your right category.)
Tradesman - The entry level for anyone who first joins.(Also the level for merchants, cooks, and entertainers) From here you will learn what path you wish to take, and move up. (unless you are a merchant, cook, or entertainer. -there are only 9 slots, so this title will fit for those.)
Crafter- The entry level for an aspiring crafter; there are no requirements. Just a profession choice.
Warrior- The entry level for an aspiring warrior; there are no requirements. Just a profession choice.
Mage- The entry level for an aspiring mage; there are no requirements. Just a profession choice.
Master Crafter- This is the level in which one should be mastering crafting. Requirements: 50 met and at least 50 in two areas of weapon crafting.
Supreme Warrior- This is the level in which one should be mastering fighting. Requirements: 80 in weapon, 50 in armor.
Grand Mage- This is the level in which one should be mastering magery. Requirements: 50 in 3 ways, or 1 max way.
High Guard- This is the council position, there are no requirements, it is of the Guild Master's choice.
Guild Master- The leader. Open for discussion and advice, even from lower ranks, but obviously the one in charge.
Rules:
In Character:
~Please do not draw your weapons in the city, or duel in the city.. it's against the law.
~If someone asks you for help, please help them. Unless they are just rude. Then I don't blame you for not doing so.
Out Of Character:
~If you're going to speak ooc, please put it in brackets. Otherwise, please remain -in character- and play your part.
~Guild chat can be a mix of ic or ooc. It all depends. (So don't worry about getting chastised for it. As long as you use brackets in main for ooc speak, there shouldn't be a huge issue. Just know that sometimes Guild chat will be ic.)
~Just roleplay, have FUN, and try not to cause problems.
~As I stated in one of my responses, this is -not- a powerleveling guild. We are here to have -fun.- Roleplay, hunt, explore, interact with members new and old, etc. NOT to just get -levels.- Please keep that in mind.
