--Graphics options!
« on: May 03, 2003, 10:25:40 pm »
I dont know if this has ever been discussed but appropriate graphics levels must be set. And here are my recommendations:

-Highest: Runs smooth on a 2.5GHz system (or equivalent) with top of the line graphics card.

-High: Runs smooth on a 1.8GHz system and graphics card at least as powerful as a GeForce 3 Ti-200.

-Medium: Runs smooth on a 1.4GHz system with graphics card at least GeForce 2 or equivalent.

-Low: Runs smooth on a 900MHz system with Geforce 2 or equiv.

-Lowest: Runs smooth on a 500MHz system with TNT2 or equiv graphics card. But can run on a system of 350MHz or more.

I state these results after a poll I ran at a different web site a couple of weeks ago and thought Id share this with you.

Of course Im aware that it is very diffficult to encode to such a spectrum of PCs but unfortunately its the reality and I would recommend taking in these suggestions as \'targets\'.

Hope this helps,
K-C

yea thats one of the priorities

maybe not those exact pc configurations, but something of the sort would be good, there are still many improvements to come, so not to fear, development team is here (not me... i wish :P)

Right! And some View Distance Control would be nice. I\'ve already posted about that in \"Low detail desperately needed\".
