Trying to get in after a crash
« on: August 22, 2009, 12:51:18 am »
I was just (within the last 10 minutes) shown the entrance to the mines so I could get to mining, lol, and I got an error and booted. Now everytime I try to relaod, as it's loading the area/realm...i get the same error and I can't get in. I guess you could call it a bit of" PlaneShift Limbo" LOL

Anyone have any suggestions?

If windows right click the updater and add -repair to the target line. For example: "C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Steel Blue\psupdater.exe" -repair

You can also come to #planeshift-gmtalk or file a petition ingame with another character and we'll help get that character moved to a safer area maybe.

I try to add the -repair on the end of the target line and it tells me it's not valid...

Erm, doesn't --repair have two hyphens prefixing it?
