Part Ten - A Fairy Tale Comes True

Months earlier...
After the events surrounding the House of Apero-Nel (http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=35362.0) Alce, always somewhat bookish (a trait she had no doubt picked up from her teacher Giroum) had spent hours with Ingcha in the temple archives. By chance or perhaps fate she came across the journal of one Bedinon Ceckien: a Hammerwielder she recalled seeing in the Apero-Nel family tree. She poured through the book, over three centuries old, only to find folded between the final pages...a map.
Carefully she copied the map, intending to store it in the archives for safekeeping, and set out back to the temple itself.
There she summoned members of the Way of the Hammer, figuring that the journal of one of the clan would be better off in their hands. Evaraj and his kin came and she handed over both the book and the map, entrusting them to their care.

It was not until later, returning to the archives that she discovered the copy of the map missing from her pocket.
Wherever could it have gotten to?

Time passed and her time and attention was taken up with the kidnappings...even that of Giroum himself and his subsequent healing. But when matters seemed to be settling she sought out the Hammers again, finding Keella at Harnquist's. After reintroducing herself she learned that the Hammers had followed Bedinon's map, only to discover a hoarde of old weapons at it's end...and to be attacked by thieves as they left.
Alce was shocked, and knew that it must have been these thieves who took the map copy from her. Now she thought about it, there had been someone...a ylian perhaps...who had quickly engaged her in conversation after she had given the map and book to the dwarves. Had he or an accomplice picked her pocket?
She was deeply relieved to hear that no one had been badly injured and, the conversation coming to a close, She made her way back to the temple.

Unfortunately poor Alce was now no more, and so when Evaraj of the Way of the Hammer sought out a Devotee of Laanx he could only find Ingcha, recently returned from the Death Realm, in the plaza nursing her injuries...

(01:16:54) >Evaraj greets Ingcha Indarica.
(01:17:07) Ingcha says: Hello master dwarf!
(01:17:10) Evaraj says: hello miss
(01:17:13) Ingcha says: Might I be of some assistance?
(01:17:19) Ingcha raises her eyebrows
(01:17:53) Evaraj says: yes indeed, i just wondered if you could deliver something to Alce
(01:18:09) Ingcha looks concerned, but nods
(01:18:16) Evaraj says: my brothers and me found this book
(01:18:24) Ingcha says: Yes...I hope so...a book?
(01:18:33) Evaraj nods
(01:18:53) Evaraj says: please tell her we have found it in the caves
(01:19:15) Ingcha says: I will gladly give her it, of course. You found it in *caves*? How curious!
(01:19:20) >Evaraj gave Ingcha a book called "The Chronicles of Eonoch. Volume III.".
(01:19:37) Evaraj says: she will know
(01:19:43) Ingcha accepts the book and looks over the title `The Chronicles of Eonoch, Volume III`.
(01:19:52) Ingcha nods, puzzled
(01:20:00) Ingcha says: A book about Eonoch?
(01:20:24) Evaraj says: i think so
(01:20:51) Ingcha says: He was a warrior of Laanx, a legendary figure....did you or your kin read the book, if I may ask?
(01:21:28) Evaraj says: i havent read it all, just a few sentences
(01:22:00) Ingcha nods, "Well...I`ll give it to Alce. I pray that she is well...when last I saw her she was in...trouble."
(01:22:10) Evaraj says: maybe some guildmates have read it
(01:22:26) Ingcha says: I thank you, sir...?
(01:22:27) Evaraj says: thank you very much
(01:22:53) Evaraj bows
(01:22:58) >Ingcha Indarica makes a bow to Evaraj.

Ingcha stared at the book in surprise, the lingering pains of her recent death and return pushed back by her curiosity. Eonoch was known to have been a hero of Laanx who died in True Death. The Ogan branch of Laanx held a festival in his honour...but there were few if any books about him. And yet this claimed to be The Chronicles of Eonoch, Volume Three. Being the Devotees` archivist, she could not stop herself from reading it immediately...though at the back of her mind nagged the fact that she had not been able to find Giroum, Alce, Aarnir or any of the other Devotees since her return...

After completely reading the book, Ingcha headed to the library to consult with Jayose, though unfortunately the cantankerous librarian was of no help. It was then that three others arrived: Mellas, Merivo and Dasji....with the menki Mogweh sneaking in moments later.
(02:13:02) Mellas says: Greetings miss, you look rather familiar, somehow. Have we met?
(02:13:35) Ingcha nods slowly, "Yeees, yes, I believe so....you are perhaps a friend of Giroum`s?"
(02:14:12) Mellas smiles at the mention of Giroum and nods. 'Aye,' she says before he face falls. 'Though he's having a bit of a hard time at the moment.
(02:14:21) Ingcha says: Can I ask...have you seen Giroum or Alce recently?
(02:14:54) Mellas lowers her head. 'Yes, I did.'
(02:15:27) Ingcha says: I- I last saw Alce a few days ago, and I died shortly after...I`m awfully worried about her, and a dwarf gave me a book for her.
(02:15:33) Mellas clasps her hands together. 'We will miss Alce so much, I really hope Giroum pulls through.'
(02:15:50) Dasij takes his helmet off in respect.
(02:15:59) Ingcha says: `We will miss Alce...?` She...? She...?
(02:16:06) Ingcha swallows with difficulty
(02:16:13) Ingcha says: Oh no.
(02:16:18) Mellas looks up at Ingcha with a frown. 'You died as well? Bless you for surviving, at least.'
(02:16:40) Dasij jumps onto the counter and puts a hand on Ingcha's shoulder.
(02:16:44) Mellas bites lip before lowering her head again. 'I'm so sorry.'
(02:16:49) Ingcha's nods slowly, "Laanx be praised....and may he take care of poor Alce."
(02:16:59) Ingcha nods her thanks to Dasji
(02:17:17) Ingcha takes out a book from her satchel with shaking hands
(02:17:22) Dasij sheds a small tear "Sorry i'm rather sensitive."
(02:17:30) Dasij jumps down.
(02:17:39) Mellas says: Aye, both Alce and Giroum. They seemed very close to each other, this must be a hard hit.
(02:17:48) Ingcha says: I must get this to Giroum. I was told to give it to Alce, but.... I fear it is of vital importance.

Ingcha set the book on Jayose`s desk.
(02:18:15) Mellas walks over to take a look at the book. 'What is this?'
(02:18:26) Ingcha says: Do you know Eonoch?
(02:18:59) Ingcha says: He is a figure of Laanx legend, a hero of the past. This appears to be a book detailing an adventure of his.
(02:19:22) Mogweh listens at the door and is about to greet Merivo but says nothing.
(02:20:01) Dasij glares at Mogweh.
(02:20:08) Mellas doesn't realize Mogweh's presence and begins to read the book. 'Nay, I haven't heard of his tale, why is that so important though?'
(02:20:19) Ingcha says: I...I am sorry to bring this to you..
(02:20:28) Ingcha looks Mellas up and down
(02:20:42) Ingcha says: But, please, take a look at the last lines, at least.
(02:20:58) Ingcha says: "Saved from the fire..."
(02:21:26) Mogweh ignores the dwarf. [Dasji]
(02:21:33) Dasij taps Mellas' shoulder "Murderer alert" he then points at Mogweh.
(02:22:00) Mellas gasps after she read the last lines, her eyes wide. 'The Howling Well!!'
(02:22:10) Ingcha nods
(02:22:13) Mellas says: This tale, it really happened!?
(02:22:34) Mellas stammers, 'B-but, but that means... w-we..'
(02:22:42) Ingcha shakes her head, "I do not know...it could be a work of fiction...such myths exist around Eonoch, but...."
(02:22:45) Mogweh ignores the dwarf`s comment and looks questionly at Mellas and the book.
(02:23:15) Ingcha looks to Mellas, "Did Giroum ever mention to you about a sword he found? A sword in two parts?"
(02:23:54) Mellas shakes her head, taken by the last lines of the book. 'This can't be true.. we pulled a sword out an ancient looking kran in the Howling Well...but kra was most kind...'
(02:24:17) Ingcha's eyes widen, "You met this...Cragiona?"
(02:24:25) Mellas stumbles over her own words, shocked.
(02:24:43) Mellas says: Crag - Cragio - what?
(02:25:07) Ingcha withdraws a long package from her bag, wrapped in fine cloth and takes out the contents, placing it on Jayose`s desk
(02:25:19) Ingcha says: Have you seen this before?
Ingcha set an exquisite saber blade on the desk, the edge keen...but broken off where it would meet a hilt.
(02:26:08) Mellas gasps, placing a hand over her mouth before she nods. 'How did you get this?'
(02:26:54) Ingcha says: Giroum. He returned to the temple one day and summoned both I and Alce. He told us he had found this curious blade in the Howling Well, and asked each of us to keep a part...
(02:27:09) Ingcha says: I took the blade to the archives. Alce kept the golden hilt with her.
(02:27:48) Mellas says: This was the enchanted blade then...
(02:28:22) Mellas says: The kran in the howling well seemed to wake up after we pulled this same sabre out of kra.
(02:28:59) Ingcha says: I just received this book from one of the Hammers....he says they found it buried in a cave. Who knows how old it is? If you say you pulled this from a kran....it sure sounds like kra was this `Cragiona` from the story.
(02:29:33) Mellas bites her lip. 'Giroum must be warned, as soon as possible!'
(02:30:26) Ingcha nods, "I will see what else I can discover. Mellas...can you take the book, give it to Giroum when you see him. Read it yourself if you have time....and, the blade...."
(02:30:30) Mellas says: I assume he aware that Alce carried the other part of the sabre, so if we bring them back together...
(02:31:05) Ingcha chews her own lip
(02:31:15) Mellas nods quietly, picking up the book, eager to read its other pages.
(02:31:36) Ingcha says: The hilt was golden...decorative, perhaps....Mellas, do you know anyone who can reforge the saber? Give it a new handle?
(02:31:38) Mogweh looks at Mellas and Ingcha and tries to recall something from memory
(02:32:04) Dasij says: I might be able to call upon a fellow dwarf.
(02:32:20) Dasij says: I know one that is extremely good with metal.
(02:32:29) Mellas taps her chin, thinking at first before she looks over at Dasij. 'You do? Whom?'
(02:32:32) Ingcha looks to Dasji, "It is of the finest quality...if you know a master forger, we would be indebted to you, sir."
(02:32:44) Dasij says: Well i know two.
(02:32:50) Dasij says: Yahh and Hangytr.
(02:32:55) Dasij says: Both are extremely skilled.
(02:33:43) Ingcha nods to herself, "Reforge the blade...then...this kran...how can kra be found? We need to...test kra, somehow."
(02:33:44) Mellas smiles when hope begins to blossom. 'Alright, we can set this straight then.'
(02:33:58) Dasij says: But i know Yahh a little bit better.
(02:34:08) Dasij says: Maybe he can reforge the blade.
(02:34:08) Ingcha picks up the book and the blade, handing them to Mellas
(02:34:25) Mellas looks up at Ingcha, accepting the items.
(02:35:12) Mellas says: I often brought kra to the temple in Gugrontid. Kra calls kraself Geis, and I remember kra`s kindness.
(02:35:43) Ingcha says: I see. Gugrontid then. I will seek Giroum.
(02:36:45) Mellas nods her thanks to Ingcha. 'Please remain safe, both you and Giroum.
(02:37:00) Ingcha nods to Mellas and Dasji, "Take care, and may Laanx frighten the shadows from thy path! I will be in touch!"
(02:37:26) Ingcha walks out past Mogweh with a suspicious glance.

If anyone wants to read the book itself: http://www.hydlaaplaza.com/smf/index.php?topic=36256.msg412823;topicseen#msg412823

Part Eleven - Divine Retribution
Giroum sat within the Iron Temple upon a pew, as he always did. Ingcha had spoken to him about the sword: having given it to Mellas to have reforged. Though the hilt had been stolen by Alce`s murderer, they prayed that the blade alone would be sufficient to do the deed. All were still racked with doubt: could Geis truly be the Cragiona mentioned in the book? If it were true, kra would not easily be tricked...

A gathering of brave souls
Giroum sent word to Mellas, asking her to come. Fortunately, with the aid of the menki Mogweh, she had managed to have the dwarf master sword-smith Hangatyr reforged the saber without damaging the fine blade. Also she brought with her the menki Merivo and the dermorian Shangshi. Merivo had met the lemur priest but once before, and the dermorian had never, but Mellas had managed to persuade them to aid her and Giroum and so, despite their doubts and the tension between them, they came and agreed to lend what aid they could.
(21:55:05) Giroum says: Mellas...would you send a note to him with your pet? We could meet....
(21:55:08) Mellas nods to Giroum. 'Yes, I brought him to the temple there twice. He seems to feel happy there, for all I know.'
(21:55:11) Giroum rubs his jaw
(21:55:29) Giroum says: Perhaps upon the Scar of Laanx. It is also the burial place of Konroran.
(21:55:55) Mellas tilts her head has Giroum thinks, summoning her groffel with a flick over her ring. 'Of course.'
(21:56:24) Giroum says: My thanks.
(21:56:48) Giroum looks from Merivo to Shangshi, "We will need to cooperate on this, no matter which way it goes."
(21:57:28) Mellas grabs a piece of graphite and a small piece of parchment, scribbling a short note. Carefully, she attaches it to her familiar, and whispers: "Geis."
(21:58:05) Mellas watches Fesynx fly away before she turns back to the others with a nod. 'I hope he'll go.'
(21:58:39) Shangshi nods to Giroum "I still dont entirely understand what is it your trying to do. But I will help if i can."
(21:59:27) Giroum nods and strikes the flagstones with his staff, "Shall we depart?"
(21:59:48) Shangshi steps back allowing the other to depart first.
(22:00:04) Mellas says: Aye, I'm as ready as I'll ever be.

On their way from Hydlaa to Gugrontid the four discussed how they would get the kra to admit whether or not kra was the evil kran of the old book...and even as they arrived at Gugrontid all were uneasy...it was decided that they would confront kra with the book, talk of its contents and observe kra`s reaction.

(22:16:25) Giroum takes a deep breath, "The moment of truth awaits."
(22:16:27) Mellas shifts her weight, a little nervous.
(22:17:57) Merivo says: err
(22:17:57) Giroum points ahead, "The Scar of Laanx."

The kran confronted

(22:34:13) Mellas looks up when she spots the kran. 'Geis, you made it!' she exclaims. 'It's been a while since we last met.'
(22:34:49) Mellas turns to point at this priest behind her. 'Aye, this is Giroum, he was there when we freed you in the howling well.'
(22:35:11) Geis nods, "Indeed. I remember you, lemur."
(22:35:38) Giroum coughs uncomfortably, "I take it that you are well, Geis?"
(22:36:00) Geis absentmindedly rubs kra`s hands but nods
(22:36:35) Geis says: What is the problem?
(22:37:33) Mellas glances back at Giroum uncertainly before she nods to Geis. 'I do indeed need your help. We've discovered a book, a very mysterious book about a story that happened in the past. Considering your age, I thought you might be the best bet to help us understand.'
(22:38:06) Giroum carefully takes the book from his satchel and sets it on the ground between them.
(22:38:34) Geis looks down at the old book and reads the title
(22:38:44) Mellas clasps her hands together and watches while Geis looks over the book.
(22:38:44) Geis frowns, his jaw tightening
(22:40:10) Geis's eyes dart to Mellas and Giroum, "What is the meaning of this?"
(22:41:06) Mellas's eyes widen at the sudden change of tone. 'No meaning, we just searched for an explanation,' she says hastily. 'I mean, why would Cragonia do what he did?'
(22:46:08) Geis looks down at the book, "I know of this Eonoch...but I do not know this story. You trouble me with...with....fairytales?"
(22:46:31) Giroum frowns, "Eonoch is no fairy tale."
(22:47:18) Mellas shakes her head. 'We have reason to believe this is no fairytale, and we also have reason to believe that you know more about this!' she suddenly exclaims.
(22:47:50) Geis scowls, "And why might that be?"
(22:49:33) Mellas shouts for their two companions. 'Merivo! Shangshi!'
(22:49:47) Geis spins around
(22:49:54) Geis says: What is this?!
(22:50:03) Mellas says: Merivo, show this kran the blade we reforged, maybe he'll recognize that.
(22:50:15) Merivo unsheathes the sabre
(22:50:17) Geis looks to the reforged saber, "The last person who stuck that in me couldn`t finish me off...do you really think you can?"

The sword revealed

(22:50:26) Geis shouts: Insignificant worms! Blind, imbecilic grubs. How easily you were fooled!
(22:50:37) Merivo says: aye....
(22:50:40) Merivo says: I can
(22:50:44) Geis sneers, "You, meddling Mellas. You have a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, my dear...and one day it will be your downfall."
(22:50:58) Giroum steps back in shock
(22:51:03) Merivo says: no one touches her without feeling my wrath
(22:51:04) Mellas's eyes widen at the sudden admittance, not having expected this.
(22:51:07) Geis turns to Giroum, "And you, priest. You could not even protect your flock...and now one will never see the light again. The dwarf..."
(22:51:22) Geis steps forward, grinning
(22:51:25) Geis grins wickedly, "I doubt very much she is with your fickle deity now, for I hear she renounced him in favour of the master of glyphs. A change of heart and faith....but no amount of faith could save her from the fall which followed, could it?"
(22:51:38) Merivo leaps at Geis and sticks the saber in the back of his neck

Merivo strikes

(22:51:49) Geis staggers, a look of intense pain on kra`s face, "No! It is not time! I have but begun my great work!"
(22:51:50) Mellas wraps her arms around Giroum protectively and tries to pull him back.
(22:51:51) Merivo then yanks the sabre out again quickly

Giroum watched in shock as the blade sunk into the kran, its point emerging from kra`s throat...only to be drawn out once more, ichor spewing from the wound in gobs that congealed like molten iron atop the hill. And then suddenly all were blinded as a bolt of pure white lanced down from the welkin and smote the kran.

(22:53:22) Giroum watches as Geis was struck down by Laanx.
(22:54:01) Mellas releases her hold on Giroum and looks at the molten iron with disbelief.
(22:54:59) Giroum swallows and looks at the molten remains
(22:55:07) Mellas carefully steps closer to the molten iron. 'W-what happened?' she asks, confused.
(22:55:46) Giroum raises his head to regard the Crystal, "I believe that...was divine intervention."
(22:55:51) Shangshi walks round Merivo hovering a massive stone in his hand he had, no longer needed moves his hand and lets it drop to the floor.

(22:56:44) Merivo drops the sabre on the ground
(22:57:07) Giroum says: Kra`s...gone.
(22:57:19) Giroum looks from one to another of his comrades
(22:57:20) Mellas says: I can't believe it, he did all those things after all.
(22:57:48) Shangshi walks up and prods some of the remains with his foot "That was...." and lets his eyes look up not completing the sentence.
(22:58:15) Shangshi says: So Kra was who you thought Kra was then.
(22:58:31) Shangshi looks down at the book "May I read it?"
(22:58:43) Giroum looks up from the steaming remains, "I think this proves kra was, yes."
(22:58:52) Giroum says: The book? Yes, if you wish.
(22:59:08) Merivo offers Giroum the sabre
(22:59:17) Mellas swallows uncomfortably. 'Sure seems to be this way. Bless Laanx for helping us out where I couldn't.' She gives Merivo a soft smile. 'What you did was very brave.'
(22:59:24) Giroum looks to Merivo and shakes his head, "The sword: it is yours."
(22:59:30) Shangshi reaches down and collects the book, opening it and reading some of the passages.
(22:59:36) Merivo looks at Giroum then nods
(22:59:40) Merivo grins at Mellas
(22:59:53) Merivo says: I've had my fair share of experience
(23:00:00) Giroum says: You did a great service today...not only to the Iron Temple...but to all Yliakum, Merivo.
(23:01:04) Merivo laughs, clearly not used to the attension
(23:01:27) Giroum looks at the ground, "And what more fitting place?"
(23:02:08) Mellas turns around, bothered by the kran's last words. 'I guess that clears things up,' she says sadly.
(23:02:42) Merivo looks at Mellas a little sad
(23:03:19) Giroum turns to Mellas, "Kra is gone, Mellas...pay kra`s words no heed."
(23:03:27) Merivo says: it's alright Mell
(23:03:50) Merivo says: it seems Laanx is protecting us
(23:03:52) Mellas crosses her arms. 'How would kra know what Alce did, after all. I didn't...' she silences herself and nods. 'You're right, forget it. What would you have us do, Giroum?'
(23:06:26) Shangshi finishes reading parts of the text and closes the book.
(23:08:16) Giroum says: Mellas...
(23:09:02) Mellas looks over at Shangshi when he closes the book. 'I guess you understand things better now?'
(23:09:14) Giroum says: what kra said about Alce, I do not believe. She was my pupil, and a devout worshipper of Laanx. She would not betray her faith unless forced. And as for what kra said about you, kra cannot harm anyone now."
(23:09:53) Shangshi nods "Yes, I do."
(23:10:08) Mellas smiles at the priest's faith. 'That's very true, Giroum. Thank you.'
(23:11:20) Giroum takes a deep breath and repacks his pipe with fresh pipeweed
(23:11:32) Giroum says: I think we have all deserved a rest, don`t you?
(23:12:04) Mellas rubs her forehead, yet painfully reminded that Geis' words do hold a ring of truth.
(23:14:06) Mellas evades looking at the molten iron and nods. 'Aye, I've seen enough for a day. Let's head back.'
(23:14:29) Giroum carefully steps over the molten rock to retrieve the book
(23:14:40) Merivo sighs silently then says "thanks for the help Shangshi"
(23:15:19) Mellas tries to cover a small smile with her hand when Merivo utters his thanks.
(23:15:49) Giroum says: Thank you. Thank you all.
(23:16:34) Shangshi smiles "Your welcome Merivo, but its not like I actually did anything."
(23:16:41) Mellas says: Thank you too, Giroum. We couldn't have figured this out without you. After all, to think I've been healing this kran, helping him on his way.
(23:16:52) Mellas raises her hands to the crystal.
(23:17:29) Giroum shakes his head, "None of us were to know."
(23:18:00) Giroum looks up, taking out his platinum symbol of Laanx and touching it to his chest before putting it back in his robes.
(23:19:28) Mellas sighs, calmed down by Giroum's words. 'I need a drink,' she mutters under her breath.

Aftermath

And so with Geis slain a Black Flame was extinguished once more...and faith in the masquerade lord burned bright.
The End

Many thanks to all who took part, particularly of course Rigwyn without whom much of the RP could not have happened. :)

Confessions of a Smote Kran
One
If anyone wants to know what he was actually up to behind the scenes...
Shortly after Geis had been freed from imprisonment within the Howling Well...

(19:09:34) Geis says: And here was me thinking this place was completely abandoned.
(19:10:05) Rigwyn notices a granite Kran in a place of solitude. "It usually is..."
(19:10:30) Geis's frown turns into a bellicose chuckle
(19:10:54) Geis says: Such suspicion, eh?
(19:11:18) Geis looks the diaboli up and down
(19:11:24) Rigwyn smirks as he examines the kran. "You look .. ancient to say the least"
(19:12:11) Geis nods, "I could not even tell you my age if you asked."
(19:12:39) Rigwyn notices the patches of lichen and cracks in kra's body, then a large wound. "What happened to you ? "
(19:13:25) Geis looks down at the scar on kra`s chest, touching it gently, "A scar of...rememberance. Long ago one found out my true nature...."
(19:13:35) Geis smiles, "He took the betrayal badly."
(19:14:03) Rigwyn says: "You betrayed your own brethren?
(19:14:35) Geis shakes his head sternly, "No kin of mine. A pawn of the masked fool."
(19:15:08) Geis says: Though he believed us to be the closest of comrades.
(19:15:46) Rigwyn nods, "The masked he-she who failed to back up it own followers". Rigwyn laughs.
(19:16:28) Geis grins in a predatory manner and nods, "The one who dealt me this could not finish me...he would not....ironic that I have outlasted him."
(19:16:43) Geis says: But, pray tell...in what capacity do you serve?
(19:17:05) Geis raises his head, carefully watching the diaboli through the flames of the brazier
(19:17:24) Rigwyn says: I serve myself, and the one for which this place was erected.
(19:18:13) Geis nods as he listens, "I have been away so long...and so much has changed...we flourish?"
(19:18:54) Rigwyn says: "I know of a few personally but I suspect there are many more."
(19:19:17) Geis says: Well, indeed...secrecy is our way, is it not?
(19:20:28) Rigwyn nods, and speaking of which how did you get free ? And does anybody know that you are are one of the elite ?
(19:21:51) Geis says: I was....rescued, shall we say, from my slumber by a trio of kind souls...a pair of elves and a lemur...
(19:21:57) Geis spits into the flames
(19:22:18) Geis says: None of them know my true nature, but no doubt they are suspicious of how I was found.
(19:25:10) Rigwyn says: Unless they know something its should just be matter of curiousity.
(19:25:51) Rigwyn says: Do you have reason to believe that they could learn more about you ?
(19:26:15) Geis says: If they are foolish enough to stick their noses in, they will get more than they bargain for. Reason?
(19:26:22) Geis frowns in thought
(19:27:04) Geis says: The lemur...he was a devotee of his blasted demiurge, said so himself....he could be...trouble.
(19:27:34) Geis says: But since I am back, I think it only fitting that that rusted hall be brought low.
(19:28:53) Rigwyn laughs evily. "It would take an awful lot for fire to raize that stupid temple. Perhaps it would be easier to shake the faith of its followers"
(19:29:25) Geis nods approvingly, "Yeeees, yes."
(19:29:36) Geis's eyes sparkle in the firelight
(19:29:41) Rigwyn says: "Perhaps that could be convinces that Laanx has indeed left them once more.."
(19:30:26) Geis says: And that his worshippers are naught but fools and thieves, wretched scum.
(19:30:56) Rigwyn says: "Indeed, they should be enlightened"
(19:31:46) Geis's mouth spreads into a grin, "I like you, diaboli. You may call me Geis, but do not think for a moment that it is my true name."
(19:33:39) Rigwyn smirks, "Ive started to plant some seeds of suspicion already Geis. "
(19:33:57) Rigwyn says: "Rigwyn is what my aquaintences call me."
(19:34:04) Geis says: Oh you have? Do tell...Rigwyn.
(19:35:22) Rigwyn says: "There are a few religions that I would like to see shattered. Dakkru-ism being one of the, Laanx has been on my list too"
(19:36:16) Rigwyn says: Ive been er eh... providing a pulic service lately.
(19:36:50) Geis says: A `public service`? I wouldn`t have taken you for a community-minded one.
(19:36:53) Geis smiles
(19:36:54) Rigwyn says: Providing helpless victims to those would would like some eh .. exotic entertainment"
(19:37:06) Geis chuckles
(19:37:07) Rigwyn grins widely.
(19:37:34) Geis says: Well now....and there is wont?
(19:41:26) Rigwyn says: "Yes, I held an auction the other day for a simple sewerling fishelf. There is demand indeed"
(19:42:16) Geis smiles, "Good, good. A nice festering wound it the Dome`s capital. How delicious."
(19:43:05) Rigwyn laughs evily, "To tell me a little more abot this lemur and elf did you day ? "
(19:43:32) Rigwyn says: "I wonder if he's the same lemur that I've spotted"
(19:43:55) Geis says: Their names were...Zephan, a dermorian....Mellas, another of your fishelves...and the last.
(19:44:00) Geis scowls into the flames
(19:44:09) Geis says: The lemur, Giroum.
(19:45:07) Rigwyn says: Gioum ...he's the lemur I take it.
(19:45:16) Rigwyn says: I know of Zephan and Mellas.
(19:45:24) Geis says: You do?
(19:46:17) Rigwyn says: Zephan is a curious little elf with a pretty young fishelf buzzing about him .. her name is Calluna.
(19:46:34) Rigwyn says: The two are very close.
(19:46:54) Geis studies the flames, passing his hand over them until it darkens with soot, "Oh really?" kra says and smiles
(19:47:02) Rigwyn says: Mellas on the other hand.. she's a little too curious for her own good. Be careful around her.
(19:47:15) Geis nods, "Thank you for the warning."
(19:47:32) Rigwyn says: She is entangled with a man who I suspect could be very dangerous.
(19:47:44) Geis says: Which do you think it would be easiest to get to...it is always best to strike at the weakest.
(19:48:03) Rigwyn says: I would leave Mellas alone for now.
(19:48:25) Rigwyn says: She is entangled with a Ynnwn who I suspect is one of us.
(19:48:35) Geis says: Aaaah, I see. Zephan then or his partner? Or the lemur?
(19:49:14) Rigwyn shrugs and then grows a smile, 'Personally I'de rather see the lemur suffer"
(19:49:36) Geis says: A man after my own tastes. The Laanx-spawn it is then.
(19:50:16) Rigwyn nods, "I'll see if I can perhaps auction him to some er eh .. elite bretheren"
(19:50:58) Geis grins, "That sounds good...but perhaps we could destroy him mentally before physically?"
(19:52:00) Rigwyn says: "Yes, I like that ... what did you have in mind ? twisting his limbs ? making him drink sewer water ?
(19:52:25) Geis drops the contents of a sack onto the flagstones
(19:52:39) >Geis Kobble dropped 11 Rotten Meats.
(19:53:21) Geis says: Desecrate the temple.
(19:53:29) Rigwyn walk forward a little and looks at the dropped item
(19:53:46) Rigwyn says: "With rotten flesh ! Haa haa ha !"
(19:54:08) Geis says: Perhaps some blasphemous literature spread about....seemingly by the lemur`s hand.
(19:54:52) Rigwyn's eyes widen, "Yes, yes ... In fact I have a book I've been working on .."
(19:55:05) Rigwyn says: This might just do..
(19:55:54) Geis raises his brows
(19:55:59) >Geis Kobble picked up 11 Rotten Meats
(19:56:27) Rigwyn reaches into his sack for a book
(19:57:51) >Rigwyn gave Geis a book called "The way of try darkness. [NAME DELETED]".
(19:58:00) Geis accepts the book and opens it
(19:59:28) Rigwyn watches Geis's eyes scan left and right . and begins to grin.
(20:00:16) Geis gently closes the book and smiles, "A fine tome. I fear Jayose is not worthy of such works....but perhaps we can ensure it gets to those who need read it."
(20:01:07) Rigwyn nods, "Oh yes, the right hands and the right place"
(20:01:16) Geis nods
(20:01:45) Geis says: I will see what else I can do....perhaps some `lost` Talad artefacts carefully placed.
(20:02:15) Geis says: And some ruqua fruit plucked roughly from that wench-god`s tree, too.
(20:02:49) Rigwyn looks at Geis curiously, "I have no clue what one would do with such items .. but I suspect you have something clever in store"
(20:03:20) Geis says: I am sure I will find some use for them.
(20:04:14) Rigwyn says: It sounds like you keep yourself rather busy... Let me know if you ever need a hand..
(20:04:48) Geis says: Oh, I will. I am too old for direct action...it has been too long since I wielded a weapon....but I have my ways.
(20:06:31) Geis says: When you do choose to seize that lemur...I would appreciate it if you would tell me....I fear it is something I cannot miss.
(20:07:19) Rigwyn says: "Oh I will. Be prepared for some entertainment."
(20:07:29) Geis smiles and nods

(20:10:59) Geis says: Can you swing a pick, Rigwyn?
(20:11:46) Rigwyn smirks, "Mining is for dwarves... "
(20:11:58) Rigwyn says: "I have other ways of attaining wealth"
(20:12:08) Rigwyn says: But yes.
(20:12:25) Geis says: Oh, there won`t be any mining. I want you to pin me to Xiosia`s tree. One pick through each of my hands....and a sack over my head.
(20:12:40) Rigwyn says: "What ? are you nuts ?"
(20:12:50) Geis says: I`ll tell whoever gets me down that I was snatched and put up there. Nuts?
(20:13:12) Geis grins, "Quite possibly....but we must all make sacrifices, for the Flame."
(20:13:21) Rigwyn watches Geis pondering the words .. slowly a grin forms and turns into a large smile.
(20:13:40) Geis looks to Rigwyn questioningly, "Will you do this for me?"
(20:14:04) Rigwyn says: "If your willing to make this sacrifice .. yes"
(20:14:28) Geis says: Good...oh, and you wouldn`t be able to buy the picks and sack, would you? I`m a bit...skint.
(20:14:57) Rigwyn smirks, "Yeah, its no problem ... I think blondie sells them.."
(20:15:10) Geis says: Excellent...then shall we go?
(20:15:56) Rigwyn nods, I'll meet you there then.
(20:16:06) Geis smiles, "Thank you for this."

The two meet again later at the Tree of Xiosia, careful to remain out of sight of the druid at the pool...
(20:23:51) Geis nods to Rigwyn
(20:24:12) Rigwyn nods and then looks around
(20:25:37) Rigwyn takes out a pick and looks at Geis, "Hold out your hand"
(20:25:55) Geis puts kras hand against the tree
(20:26:39) Rigwyn says: "Ok, you might want to close your eyes... so yo dont flinch by mistake"
(20:26:48) Geis closes kras eyes
(20:27:28) Rigwyn supresses a sadistic smile and then swings the pick hard, aiming it Geis's left palm.
(20:27:47) Geis stifles a cry as the pick pins kras hand
(20:29:14) Rigwyn takes out another pick. "The other .. I know this hurt but try to hold it still"
(20:29:39) Geis nods and puts kras other hand against the bark
(20:30:15) Rigwyn swiftly swings the pick at Geis's right palm.
(20:31:09) Geis bites kra`s lip and winces severely
(20:33:01) Geis lowers kra`s head
(20:33:04) Rigwyn looks around and puts a sack over Geis's head.
(20:33:34) Geis whispers, "Our master will be most pleased."
(20:34:12) Rigwyn whispers, "Indeed. you serve well. The feast will be ours."
(20:34:38) Geis nods once more and goes limp
(20:36:04) Rigwyn looks around and then casually exist chuckling silently.

Some time later who should come along but...
(22:02:03) Geis comes back to consciousness and raises kra`s head
(22:02:19) Geis shouts: Help! Somebody...help!
(22:03:23) Geis pants in pain
(22:03:26) Geis shouts: Help! Somebody...help!
(22:04:31) Geis says: Someone...anyone! Help!
(22:05:15) Geis shouts: Help! Someone help me!
(22:09:12) Geis shouts: Help me!
(22:10:24) Geis shouts: Help me!
(22:11:19) Geis shouts: Help! Someone help me!
(22:12:03) Geis is pinned to the tree with a rock pick through each hand and a sack over kra`s head.
(22:12:21) Geis lifts his bagged head at the sound of someone approaching
(22:12:37) Mellas winces at the sight of Geis and sheathes her daggers, trying to pull each rock pick free swiftly.
(22:13:30) Geis's right hand comes free as the pick comes out
(22:13:52) Geis gives a muffled cry
(22:14:08) Mellas moves over to the other side, her face deadly serious when she tries to pull out the other rock pick. 'You're going to be okay..' she shushes.
(22:15:10) Geis collapses forward from the tree
(22:15:39) Geis fumbles with the bag over his head but can`t remove it with his wounded hands
((22:15:58) Mellas slips on the roots of the tree, falling down beside Geis. 'What happened, who are you?' she asks, sitting up and helping Geis to remove the sack over his head.
The devious kran proceeded to tell the nolthrir that kra had been attacked, his artifacts of Talad stolen, and then pinned to the tree...suggesting to her that the assault may have been religious...

Two
Months later the Laanx priest: Giroum, is kidnapped to be auctioned, and Geis `happens` to meet Rigwyn in the dungeons beneath the temple...
(22:57:48) Geis says: Well...fancy meeting you here. So...the rumours are true.
(22:57:56) Rigwyn says: Scared the treppor dung out of me
(22:58:12) Geis's face slowly cracks a smile
(22:58:36) Rigwyn says: If were talking about the same thing, then yes.
(22:58:46) Geis looks past Rigwyn to the prone form in the shadows, "Anyone I know?"
(22:58:57) Rigwyn says: Im planning a little er eh ... auction .. possible a roast
(22:59:23) Geis says: If only I had the constitution for meat. Alas not.
(22:59:28) Rigwyn says: Remember that Lemur that was poking his nose in the wrong place ?
(22:59:46) Geis grimaces and nods
(23:00:03) Rigwyn says: I dont plan on eating it .. but perhaps his flesh could be put to use.
(23:00:28) Geis raises his hairless brows, "Run out of parchment?"
(23:01:09) Rigwyn says: What do you mean ? Parchment ?
(23:01:39) Geis says: Oh, I assumed you were going to flay him and write upon his skin....I`ve heard of it done. You had something else in mind?
(23:02:17) Rigwyn laughs out loud, "I like you kran"
(23:02:49) Rigwyn says: No I know a few er eh ... good-ole-boys who might want to buy the old bastard.
(23:03:38) Geis nods, "Unfortunately my own purse is a little light. But...you said something about a use for his flesh?"
(23:04:33) Rigwyn says: Well, if nobody shows for the auction I'll have this lump of useless to discard of .. Perhaps if he were butchered I could decorate the temple with him.
(23:04:47) Rigwyn says: Its a lot of work though...
(23:05:18) Geis's eyes widen, "Most....inventive...you are a diaboli after my own cold heart. But...perhaps I can save you a little time..."
(23:05:41) Rigwyn says: Oh ? You know how to butcher meat ?
(23:05:55) Geis says: You remember I had some rather....ripe...meat, when last we met? I have more now....and would be more than pleased to get rid of it in that rusting hall."
(23:06:44) Rigwyn says: Oh .. I'de gladly lighten your load.
(23:07:27) Geis says: Well then...
(23:07:39) Geis takes out a large amount of rancid gore
(23:08:16) Geis says: You can take care of the decorations?
(23:08:40) Rigwyn says: Ahh *snif* *cough cough* "phew! perfect"
(23:09:04) Geis chuckles in a bass tone, "Then I will be off."
(23:09:22) Rigwyn says: Superb. ... take care .. and remember to stay hidden.
(23:09:31) Rigwyn says: The shadows are your best friend.
(23:09:45) Geis nods again, "Tell me of how it proceeds. I will be in our master`s abode."

Three
Some time later, dismayed at hearing of the lemur Giroum`s escape from torture, Geis learned of the disease that had broken out in Hydlaa from the message board...and decided to make the best of a bad situation...
(10:38:47) >Geis Kobble greets Sillamon Sallow.
(10:38:53) Geis says: Hello there!
(10:39:07) Geis studies the old dwarf
(10:39:07) Sillamon jumps back somewhat startled.
(10:39:18) Sillamon says: "Who ? What ? "
(10:39:31) Geis says: My apologies for startling you, sir...
(10:39:35) Geis frowns
(10:39:56) Geis says: You wouldn`t happen to be Sillamon, author of the note upon the message board, would you?
(10:40:29) Geis can`t help but wince at the sight of Sillamon`s sewn-shut eyes
(10:40:31) Sillamon smiles brightly despite his ailment "Why yes, I am. Are you a healer by any chance ?'
(10:40:42) Geis smiles
(10:41:08) Geis says: Well, I believe I may be able to assist you sir, yes. And in fact together we might be able to bring salvation to all.
(10:41:55) Sillamon coughs hard spraying blood on his hand. "Oh excuse me .. You may want to stand back. This is the worst cold Ive ever had."
(10:42:01) Sillamon says: "Salvation you say ? "
(10:42:13) Geis steps back with a grimace.
(10:42:18) Sillamon says: What are you talking about ?
(10:43:12) Geis says: Yes. You are not the only one infected, yes? I fear the contagion might spread....I have concocted a potion which should aid you....and prepared more which I would like your assistance in....spreading. For the good and protection of all, you see.
(10:44:32) Sillamon says: Sir I cannot afford to buy a potion. Would you accept an item in exchange perhaps ?
(10:45:15) Geis smiles broadly and shakes his head, "I would not dream of accepting payment, my friend."
(10:45:28) Sillamon says: I have a lake mushroom, a flower, an apple.
(10:45:38) Geis looks past Sillamon to Alirukel
(10:45:41) Geis says: Can I help you, sir?
(10:45:55) Sillamon smiles brightly "Xiosia bless you gemma"
(10:46:25) Geis looks back to Sillamon, "Come, let me guide you and I will explain as we walk."
(10:46:50) Sillamon follows the sound of the Kran's footsteps
Unfortunately Geis could not lose the elf following them for some time...
(10:49:05) Geis says: Nolthrir. Can I be of assistance?

(10:54:11) Geis whispers to Sillamon as he hands over some items.
Namely a potion made by Thorian, and eight bags full of manure, clacker meat and an exceedingly large quantity of rotten meat
(10:55:36) Geis whispers, "Use the potion...it may taste foul but it will restore your vitality. The other items must be spread between bags and put into the wells and water sources of the city. Do you understand?"
(10:56:36) Geis continues, while looking over the dwarf`s shoulder, "And trust no one. We are being followed. I believe this plague may be unnatural."
(10:56:39) Sillamon nods in agreement. Yes sir .. I mean eh Kra
(10:57:23) Geis hands Sillamon various smelly, paper-wrapped packages
(10:57:29) Sillamon reaches towads Geis's voice to shake "I like you kran"
(10:57:48) Sillamon says: I wish more people were as kind as you.
(10:57:58) Geis shakes the dwarf`s hand, but quickly withdraws, warry of contagion
(10:58:31) Geis says: I will head to Ojaveda and do the same there. I fear it could be the same disease which has shut off the city. Go swiftly now.
(10:58:32) Sillamon's faces changes to a curious expression for a moment and then returns to normal.
(10:58:49) Sillamon says: The whole city ?
(10:58:58) Sillamon says: Oh Xiosia ! Thats terrible !
(10:59:10) Geis shakes his head, "All but a small portion."
And thus he left the sick, blind dwarf to do kra`s bidding: seeding the city`s wells with rot.

Four
By this point Geis felt that some, Mellas in particular, were getting too suspicious. There was also the fact that when kra had been rescued from the Howling Well, kra had not been able to obtain the sword that had transfixed him...once again he called upon the aid of a certain diaboli...
(14:43:51) >Geis Kobble greets Rigwyn Setson.
(14:44:04) Geis looks at Rigwyn through the flaming brazier
(14:44:19) Rigwyn says: "Long time no see friend"
(14:44:22) Geis says: You don`t look so good....another plaguebearer?
(14:45:04) Rigwyn nods, "Indeed. Though It seems to be clearing up. "
(14:45:19) Rigwyn says: The sneezing and coughing has stopped. Lately Im just very tired.
(14:45:42) Geis says: Let us pray that is a good sign....for I have need of your assistance.
(14:46:22) Rigwyn sits down leaning again the wall for support. "What do you need ? "
(14:46:24) >Rigwyn Setson takes a seat.
(14:47:26) Geis says: There is a item...a sword...that I require. I believe the Devotees of Laanx have it. They must have it. Probably in their damned archives.
(14:47:54) Rigwyn says: "Those greedy self righteous bastards"
(14:48:05) Rigwyn says: "What does it look like ?"
(14:48:46) Geis says: An exquisite saber of the finest quality...and a golden hilt that matches it. Direct confrontation would draw too much attention...so they need to be drawn out.
(14:49:33) Rigwyn says: "Drawn out how ? Set a fire in the temple ? "
(14:50:04) Geis says: Tempting...but I have been trying to...persuade....that the recent kidnappers...
(14:50:12) Geis nods toward Rigywn
(14:50:29) Rigwyn chuckles "Yes .. ?
(14:50:33) Geis says: And the potential source of this disease might both be in Ojaveda.
(14:51:11) Rigwyn smiles as if catching on "Thats rather far away"
(14:52:10) Geis says: Indeed it is. I fear that, after what I have done recently, it may not be safe for me to show my face for some time....but you...you could draw their attention to Ojaveda...
(14:52:31) Geis raises his hairless brow
(14:52:34) Rigwyn says: "How so? "
(14:53:25) Geis says: A master manipulator is both proactive and reactive...observe them...see how their actions can be manipulated. Something will present itself.
(14:54:07) Rigwyn grins, "Hopefully an opportunity to ruin someone's life will open up.. Perhaps many lives"
(14:54:35) Geis grins, "Quite."
(14:54:53) Rigwyn stands up leaning against the ledge.
(14:54:59) >Rigwyn Setson stands up.
(14:55:24) Geis says: Is there anyone you can trust with the theft of the sword itself? Or can you get back before that priest and his lackeys?
(14:56:43) Rigwyn scratches his chin as he thinks.
(14:57:45) Rigwyn says: I'm not sure I would trust too many people with this ..
(14:58:18) Geis says: Can you do both?
(14:58:28) Geis looks the sick diaboli up and down
(14:58:42) Rigwyn says: I'll make it happen.
(14:58:53) Geis nods, reassured
(14:58:59) Rigwyn says: Though this sickness is wearing me down.
(14:59:21) Rigwyn says: I'll find a way. The master will provide.
(14:59:33) Geis says: Before you go....
(14:59:42) Rigwyn says: Yes ?
(14:59:48) Geis says: I acquired this from a pawn. You might be able to put it to good use.
(15:00:07) >Geis gave Rigwyn a Claymore of the Hammer.
(15:00:45) Rigwyn takes the claymore from Geis and feels the edge. Its sharp as a scalpel. " From a pawn ? Ha ha !"
(15:01:12) Geis nods, "A diseased little worm. Easily lead though."
(15:01:36) Rigwyn laughs, "You tricked him into giving up the sword ? nice work !"
(15:02:03) Geis raises his brow, "You know of him? That dwarf....Sill`...Sillamon?"
(15:02:42) Rigwyn says: Pfft.. Yeah, Ive seen that little flea picker around.
(15:03:31) Geis says: Well, he was kind enough to not only take whatever potion I gave him...but also to seed the wells with putrid meat.
(15:03:43) Geis says: I`d be careful what you drink.
(15:03:45) Geis winks
(15:04:08) Rigwyn breaks out in laughter. Tears begin to flow from his eyes.
(15:04:39) Rigwyn says: "I'm not sure I could top that ! But I'll certainly try"
(15:04:54) Geis says: I hope he coughed plenty over the rancid flesh first. A seasoning of contagion. Oh, I hope this to be only our opening moves.
(15:05:22) Rigwyn says: "I can only imagine what else you have in store"
(15:05:37) Geis nods
(15:05:47) Geis says: Go now...I will await you here.
(15:06:05) Rigwyn says: "Ok. Take care"
(15:06:16) Geis chuckles, "Oh, I will."
And so Rigwyn spied upon Giroum and his comrades...tracking some of them to Ojaveda, and murdering the xacha warrior Luro, before heading to the Windowless Temple and the Devotee`s archives...where he murdered Giroum`s apprentice Alce and managed to steal the golden hilt of the saber.

Five
Finally Geis met Rigwyn once more, after the diaboli`s successful thefts and murders...
(20:42:44) Geis steps out from behind the bookcase.
(20:43:47) Geis nods in greeting
(20:44:12) Geis frowns at the wooden figurine at Rigywn`s note, "Had a change of faith?"
(20:45:18) Rigwyn looks down at the figurine and laughs. He then takes it off. "Nah, it was part of a disguise. Forgot I even had it"
(20:45:41) Geis grins, "Glad to hear it." Kra wrubs his bandaged hands.
(20:45:51) Rigwyn removes the figurine and pockets it.
(20:45:56) Geis says: Did you get the sword?
(20:46:26) Rigwyn smirks and reaches into his sack "Sure did .. have a look at this"
(20:46:39) Geis steps forward eagerly
(20:48:09) >Rigwyn gave Geis a Gilded Sword Hilt and an Emerald Crystal.
(20:48:11) Geis grinds kra`s teeth
(20:48:18) Geis shouts: What is this?
(20:48:25) Geis says: The hilt?
(20:48:30) Rigwyn says: Thats all that was left of it
(20:48:36) Rigwyn says: Thats what you wanted right ?
(20:48:40) Geis looks in surprise at the hilt then at Rigwyn
(20:48:47) Geis says: They...they don`t have the blade?
(20:48:49) Rigwyn gulps
(20:49:19) Rigwyn steps back fearfully "Hey easy .. thats all that they had"
(20:49:42) Geis's eyes dart about, "Perhaps it is enough...yes...perhaps."
(20:50:01) Geis looks at Rigwyn, "You got it from them easily?"
(20:50:17) Rigwyn smirks
(20:50:55) Rigwyn says: Easy.. well... if you consider coercing a Laanx priest into worshiping Talad from atop the Laanx temple easy
(20:51:02) Rigwyn sniggers
(20:51:14) Rigwyn says: Killed a few tlokes with one stone there.
(20:51:21) Geis looks surprised, then breaks out in laughter
(20:51:24) >Geis Kobble lets out a hearty laugh!
(20:51:42) Rigwyn says: And best of all
(20:52:08) Rigwyn says: After tossing her rotten little corpse off the temple, I nearly pegged Giroum
(20:52:20) Rigwyn says: And after it splattered.. it never vanished.
(20:52:37) Geis's eyes widen and kra shudders
(20:52:55) Geis says: Delicious. Most, most...delicious.
(20:53:15) Rigwyn says: Unfortunately the step leading down were slippery and twisty
(20:53:28) Geis arches a hairless eyebrow
(20:54:20) Rigwyn sighs, "Yeah.. had to pass though the wench's realm again"
(20:54:55) Geis hawks and spits on the corridor floor, "Good to see you got back."
(20:55:16) Geis says: I cannot thank you enough for what you have done, Rigwyn
(20:55:54) Geis rubs kra`s bandaged hands
(20:56:20) Rigwyn says: Well we could discuss thanks if you like .. but hopefully this helps ...
(20:56:45) Rigwyn says: Say .. ey .. whats so important about this sword ?
(20:58:20) Geis squints before answering, "I was lain low by this sword once before...but it broke when they removed it. Now I have half...I believe they cannot harm me with it again. I can proceed with my plan. And they will be unable to stop me."
(20:59:02) Rigwyn says: Ah.. I see .. sounds like its not an ordinary sword then ..
(20:59:41) Geis nods, "It was...It was the arm of a great warrior of Laanx."
(21:01:03) Geis says: He could not slay me, and so imprisoned me. Such will not happen again.
(21:01:04) Rigwyn says: Laanx .. Ide really like to find a way to stick it to that heshee
(21:01:27) Geis chuckles
(21:01:59) Rigwyn says: Well, if you need help just let me know ok ? we dont need our own bretheren getting stuck with swords.
(21:02:26) Geis nods, "My thanks. When I return, I will tell you more."
(21:02:51) Rigwyn nods ok then.
(21:02:55) >Geis Kobble makes a bow to Rigwyn Setson.
(21:02:58) Geis says: Until then.
(21:03:07) Geis says: Oh!...
(21:03:20) Rigwyn says: Forgot something ?
(21:03:29) Geis unwraps his hands, dropping amber-stained bandages to the ground
(21:04:07) Geis holds up kra`s left hand and pokes at the scab in the middle of kra`s palm
(21:04:13) >Geis Kobble dropped a Pile of Dust.
(21:04:28) Geis watches the dust crumble and fall
(21:04:45) Rigwyn looks down at the dust "Quite a habit you have there .. shouldn't pick your scabs"
(21:04:55) Geis says: Beware the wench in the tree, Rigwyn.
(21:05:13) Rigwyn looks up "What ? "
(21:05:30) Geis says: These wounds constantly weep...sap. They will not heal. I know not if it is that accursed dwarf`s illness or a curse of the tree we nailed me to.
(21:06:44) Rigwyn says: "Dammit ... any other symptoms ? like sneeking blood ? or whatever you have"
(21:07:21) Geis shrugs and wipes kras wounds irritatedly, "I`ll live."
(21:08:02) Rigwyn shakes his head "Should burn that freakin disgrace of a plant down."
(21:08:15) Rigwyn says: Then again
(21:08:21) Geis says: That is a sight I would love to see...uh?
(21:08:36) Rigwyn says: Perhaps its better for someone else to do that .. Heh heh
(21:09:21) Geis nods, "Indeed...a pawn. Yeeeees."
(21:09:26) Geis half turns
(21:09:39) Geis says: I must go now. Until later.
(21:10:09) Rigwyn says: Ok then .. till then.
(21:10:46) Geis kneels in prayer to the altar
And kra left the temple of kra`s dark master for the last time, receiving a letter from Mellas shortly after, summoning him to a fateful meeting atop the Scar of Laanx...

Ack... Mellas feels so tricked xD

It's really good to be able to read the true story behind the scenes now, everything suddenly makes so much more sense!
Nice to see that the temple is being used after all, it looks like *very* few BF characters actually go there.
It's a pity to see Geis go so fast though, he was a real badass xD Makes me wonder what would happen if he had organized a BF meeting. *thinks*
Thanks for sharing this fun event Giroum! I had a great time!!  \\o//
