Wont let me log on

This issues has probably been adressed previously and I'm sorry if it has.

I have created an account and downloaded PlaneShift, the game loads up fine and brings me to the log inscreen. 
The servers are online but when i type in my ussername and password but it says that the account cant be found.

Any ideas would be very helpful, thank you

Are you putting in your full email address for the userid ?

  example:   somebody@somehere.com

also, did you go to the registration page?  http://www.planeshift.it/register.html

at this time you have to make an account on that page for each server you wish to play on.
