Anyone have any idea what kind of new things this update will bring? How's the internal testing going?

Well, players will enjoy the newest feature that they will finally get **************** but I'm particularly interested in the new ************* system myself.  All the new *******************'s will be cool to see in the ***************** as well.  But the biggest update will be the addition of *************s to the game.

My brother has a collection of Apple II's, would that help? He might even still have his Peach!

Anyway guess I'll just have to keep waiting. :(

tomorrow will be a 1 month anniversary of not having the new planeshift client when we thought we would  :'(

Ceeeeeeleeebraaations! \\o// ... But what is a month, in a schedule of leisure time development...

One little hint I can answer Kerbox' question with is (being no more secret anyway), that the new PlaneShift will be based on a new CrystalSpace version, which introduces a few new techniques, e.g. regarding the rendering of the world. Therefore some textures, models and maps will get changed to match this development. This takes enough time on its own already. Not to mention some expectable additions to the world content and game features - the next major PlaneShift version will not only be different, but also more. And it will also be a little tidied up.

What a surprise...  :-X

Will there be a new client too? I'm on XP and Vista machines most of the time and the client doesnt' work on them.

*edit*

Oh, wait. That wasn't the client or Windows. That was my ATI card. Thank you, ATI, for constantly messing up my gaming experience...
