unable to get into the game

Ok. WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON! I finally managed to get an account, only to find that on attempting to log into the game, the server is down, and is ALWAYS down. That, and I can't log in even if it's ever up. It just keeps telling me " incorrect password" which is a bunch of ****. I even changed my stupid password to see if that would work. well, i guess it's needless to say that it obviously didn't do a blasted thing! I would really appreciate it if you'd maybe do something about this thing so I can play

If the server is down, it's down. Solution: wait.
If it says incorrect password, you have the incorrect password. Solution: Make a new password.
Sometimes it will say 'the server is not up' when it appears to be up, it's simply that your password has been typed in wrong.
Also, the smileys are a bit annoying.

listen to the game. it says your password's incorrect, it probably is. maybe you're having a retard moment. i get a lot of those.

Yes, at least the ezpcusa-Server is down a lot, because a new version of the game is tested there.

To narrow down why you can't play, try this checklist:

- Is the server up? You can check this on the server status pages.
  For Laanx: http://laanx.fragnetics.com/ and for ezpcusa: http://planeshift.ezpcusa.com/
- Do I have the correct version of the game? Laanx needs 4.03 and EzPCusa needs 5.00
- Do I have an account on that server? Forum registration doesn't let you play. Register
  for Laanx here: http://laanx.fragnetics.com/register/newaccount.php
  and EzPCsa there: http://planeshift.ezpcusa.com/register/  
- Did I get my verification email? Some Email providers don't like our servers. If in doubt, use Gmail.
