Plane Shift problem on Vista

Well, I'v downloaded Plane shift from the torrents provided, and from the five direct downloads. Yet, it still will not work. It set's up, and installs, but thats when the problems start.

1) When opening the cliant to start the game, the screen appears, and a ramdom error message will appear.

2) After number one, the cliant stops responding

3) After two, my computer shuts the cliant, saying my Data Execution Prevention is blocking the game

4) When I go to the DEP to allow it, it says that DEP must be turned on for the cliant.

5) Nothing else is blocking it: AVG, Norton, Windows Fire Wall, Etc., all do not find a problem, and allow the progrom.

Rinse and repeat forPlane Shift setup. Any help would be welcome.

im only guessing as the problem that you had, but what worked for me (i had error exceptions 184 blah blah blah)
was to use the "run as administrator" on the client directly, with my graphics customized to minimal settings, i was able to get on with out a hitch after that (i don't know if im running the 32 or 64 version though, it may have an impact)

The DEP message is not really related. Best to keep DEP as it was, since you cannot just switch it of for one program, without first enabling it for all others (which may cause new problems). I had it happen before, but the actual crash was before DEP interfered.

There any way to get it working? I'v tried that all (Running as Admin, Low settings, Etv.) and none of it's working. Now it just says that the 'pslauncher.exd' has stoped working, and closes it

DEP I have only had issues once, reinstalling usually fix's the rare case

Dont change DEP settings
