Well, it looks like Steel Blue has come and gone so I decided to make this thread. Post you your favourite memories and/or screen shots.

When Gugrontid appeared and the platinum mine was discovered, whoah, everyone went running to Gugrontid. And when platinum was as plenty as coal, now it's hard to get something out there. Did get my tria from that short time I mined there. I don't like PL type stuff playing.
Then, the gold mines became Crystal Blue memories, I think they are deserted nowadays.

I remember having to /greet people ... Until you did, they were just "somebody" ... Or was it "someone" ?
Funny how people still use /greet out of habit today

The many roleplays, the auctions, killing monsters and suddenly having the NPC server go down, Proglin's Tournaments, many quests, the Introduction system, seeing devs come and go, repeatedly trying and then giving up training in the Magic Ways, The Great Shift of Ojaveda, The Eclipse, the introduction of Crafting; "The Gold Rush", the subsequent Platinum Rush in Gugrontid, the big Money Duplication exploit, the introduction of the second server. And of course the gargantuan amount of bugs fixed. (and many more introduced)

Ah, time, how fast it goes.
We're not evil. We're simply amazing.

that midget house on the way from the tavern doors to the sewer. might still be there... i think it's an accidental portal projecting the image of a magical gnome house from another plane.

Pissing of one of those crazy chicken thingies on Ojevada.

I know that's not  steel blue specific, but I didn''t play much for steel blue.

I remember once being killed by a kirikiri. There was some glitch that made it ulber-strong. No joke.

I remember failed textures in the forest. When they appeared as multicolored checkerboard.

Wow, I just reviewed my screenshots, and they're actually telling a story. Much like my logs would, just in a nicer way.

I only want to post a few though.

I must have had that glitch cause too, because as I remember, I learnt very fast that those things are insane and lethal.

I havent looked on E-bay yet, but I love seeing things that remind me of good times as a kid.  The things from when I was a kid are in antique stores-- LOL  I will have to check Ebay out.

Man, the glitches in the beginning were ridiculous. But some of my favourite were when you fell down through the floors of things, and when textures became all checkered (<-- already mentioned, but I thought it was worth it again), made me feel like I was in some kind of board game world.

Well where do I start. The memories of steel blue were all the old players that i dont see around anymore Staylor is one of them. He was the first person i meet. But hes been gone for awhile. Qaneah doesnt play anymore (i know why) she was one of the first players i sold my platinum to. And my friend Amalric he has stoped playing for about 6 months now I wish he'd come back so we can have the good old fun role-play together!
You maybe roleplaying but you could still be OOC.

Memories of Steel Blue:

When everything worked and you didn't know why everyone else was complaining of "leaf bugs" and falling through the world.

I decided i should post in my own thread. My favourite memory from Steel Blue was impaling Rigwyn on Garo's claymore during Grioums auction in Auctioning Victims.
