Making fun of noobs

In every multiplayer game, noobs get picked on.. except one.  Have you ever noticed that everyone doesn\'t make fun of babies for not knowing the rules or asking stupid questions?

And that\'s good... When I came to PlanShift world everyone was ready to help me. And more - they did! Now I\'m always ready to help any newbie that I walk into.  Maybe it\'s a kind of feedback? Anyway it\'s nice... Greetings to all PLANESHIFT fans!  :D

We\'ll see how helpfull you\'ll be after you\'ve helped your zillionth newbie.

It gets tedious having to type the same thing over and over when they can just as well read if from the site or player guide, thats what its there for.

I only start the game a few ago, and i had a warm welcome from the players too. In my first game with  two friends of mine i thought that with the /group command i only speak to them, but it appear to be wrong :]

So for one hour, i had speak to my friends of various subjects and nobody flamed me althought i were flooding the chat ;)


Planeshift has a cool community of players for now, i hope this will not change. :]

lol I remeber when i was a newbie I had to change my name I don\'t think anyone was fond of a christian with a name like Nazi :D  oh well

Imho it can only improve atmosphere if you feel welcome in PlaneShift...8)

If you don\'t want to answer n00b questions anymore, just don\'t say anything...:D

And if some n00b flames about the crappy game, you just need to ask him/her why he/she doesn\'t contribute to improve it...;) (that usually helps)...

Edit: I\'ve removed what n00bs weren\'t supposed to read.

In my opinion that doesn\'t matter, since first of all those n00bs never read the forums or docus before joining the game and second if they come read it is improbable, that they read this thread....

If they\'d read the forums they wouldn\'t flame or insult others, I\'m sure...


But to not kill you all joy and due to all the indignation about I\'ve just censored myself...:D

well i don\'t know ...i\'m nice to noobies ...i was kindely introduced to PS from Ralin, and i promissed her that i\'ll help others too... well i\'d do that anyhow :]

about that telling the 10013002000th noob the same thing ...don\'t if you teach 10 noobies, and everyone of them teaches also 10 ...you\'ve already have 110 noobies that understand ...you don\'t have to do all the work ...it just gets done :)
