Can't log on to server

When I try to log on to the fragnetics server I get this message "The server is not running or is not reachable. Please check the website or forums for more info". I see that there are other peoples online at the server so I guess thet it isn't down and the problem might be that I somehow block port 7777. So how do I open this port? I use Ubuntu 9.10.

The server is down.

Added: It's inconsistent and switching from up/down.

I'm afraid it isn't down, or switching at all. Been up for hours. ;)
