hunger and food
« on: December 14, 2009, 08:36:21 pm »
ok so i looked through around 10 pages of diffrent things in the wish list, and i didnt see anything about this already, and i dont really wanna go through 146 pages of stuff @.@
so if this has been adressed then i guess this is a readress ^.^
but i was thinkin that there should be some kind of hunger system put in.
i mean you can buy food and you can eat it. but it really doesnt do anything other then heal mabey 5 health...
having a hunger thing put in would give food a reason to really be around other then mabey people rp'in a feast.
mabey have a bar like the health bar that goes down over time, if hunger gets low you can start to lose health.
it would add realizm to the game..
diffrent foods would fill up a stomach depending on size and weight i guess..
the hunger system would also kinda address strength and energy, i mean if a person is really hungry they arnt gonna have as much energy to do things and they would start to feel weak until they got some food in them..
it would take time out of people's day for sure, but it makes sense to do somthing like eat once in a while
how many people out there just sit around and talk, explore, ect
but never enjoy even a loaf of bread. everybody needs food so like i said it just adds realizm
any thoughts?

I've played text MUDs with hunger systems in them and they're annoying.

Then people will be asking for the hunger equivalent to poopsocks.

ya im sure hunger things would have its downsides, but could be intresting, bein able to eat somthin and have it benifit you in a bigger way then a tiny bit of healing,
just gives food a little more meaning
gives ya a reason to say your not hungry to
