The NPC still don't understand me

I did everything the tutorial tells me to do. I walked up say "hi" and the lady replies and tells me to ask about 'give me a quest' so i do and she doesn't understand what i said.
she understands 'help' but doesn't understand 'quest'
What should i do i really want to play

As far as i under stand the 'qive me a quest' command no longer works when interacting with an NPC. My advise is to right click the NPC and click the lips symbol. This should bring up a list of availible quests and should have the same effect as 'give me a guest'

The "Tutorial Walkthrough" thread is as outdated as the PlaneShift version 0.4, now that version 0.5 is available ... and maybe even the dialog content of the tutorial NPCs: You should now call the context menu of the NPC (usually right-click on it) and select the "Talk" button; then you should see a popup menu with different topics and possible sentences to chose.

No worries. This game has a lot of glitches, but once you get past them it is realyl great.

I have tried to use this phrase "Hello, I would like to start the tutorial." when chatting with Abelia. She can't seems to understand at all. What is going on here? Can anyone help?

erm.. kind of solved it. Apparently she does not understand the sentence (as given in the "quest response"), but she understand "start tutorial".

As said before (but maybe not clearly enough), use the interactive menu: right-click on the NPC and you'll get it. It's much easier with it, as it gives you options (except in riddles - but these don't exist in the tutorial).
