open a cmd prompt, go to that directory and run the run_me_first.bat file manually, and see what error it is giving you.  Probably you are getting an error but it is flashing off the screen so quickly you aren\'t seeing it.

command line prompt.
basicly a computer interface so you can give it  commands.
and you can view the read out
go to: start>run>
then type: cmd prompt

then find the directory where the run me first .bat file is and type it in and hit enter

edit: getting ahead of myself

what\'s your version of Windows ?

Don\'t think I am considering you like a noob... but here what you have to do exactly:

1) Put all files \'PSV0.2.010.Part1\' \'PSV0.2.010.Part2\' PSV0.2.010.Part3\' \'PSV0.2.010.Part4\' \'PSV0.2.010.Part5\' and \'run_me_first.bat\' in the same folder.

2) Make sure that files have not been renamed by your download program.

3) Double-Click on \'run_me_first.bat\' file icon to launch the reassembler. It should create a new file called \'PlaneShiftV0.2.010.exe\' , this is Planeshift installer.

If this didn\'t work, there aren\'t many solution:

 - You are missing a file.
 - You didn\'t follow the steps I just gave.
 - You are using an old version of Windows (95, 98 ) or an old version of its FileSystem (FAT16). If it is the case, tell it here, I will give you few hints to solve the problem.

okay... does your dos prompt support long filenames ???
to know that... open a cmd prompt, go to the folder where all your files are and type \'dir\' in order to list files in the directory... then copy paste to here plz....
