Serious problem

First of all, hi, im new :)

So, my problem is that first i made a character. It had the error that told me to speak with an Admin. I got it solved by making another character so i thought \'\'Yay i can play now\'\'.

But no. After i manage to get the game loaded, i see one shot from the game, sometimes i can turn around, or move, but then the game either:

1, Crashes and Windows simply takes me to Desktop

2, Crashes and Windows gives me the \'\'There has been an error with this application report it blah blah blah\'\' Window.

Could someone help?

OS: Windows XP
System: Celeron Pentium III 1400Mhz, 512mbytes RAM, Geforce 4 TI 4200
PS Version: 0.2.010

Right now, we can\'t do much... PS becomes more stable at each release.

Anyway you should play with your resolution and compatibilty modes of Windows...

Tried all resolutions and all compatibility modes, so i guess i should wait for the next update :(



...Does the game update frequently?

Good question... considering that all goals for MB have been completed, there won\'t be a lot of updates from now... not until CB is released.

But we are 100% sure that it crashes because of bad driver/directX versions... Since everyone runs the same program under Windows, only the drivers are a real difference... I crossed 2 people with the same hardware and same windows version... The game is running for one,  but for the second, we have been unable to make it work...

Sorry but im bad with acronyms related to PS. What does MB/CB stand for?


EDIT: I realized my DirectX was outdated, so i installed 9.0a. Now instead of loading the game then crashing, the game simply wont load. I was staring at the initalizing(sp?) world text for about 20 mins when i got concerned that i still have a problem. Help? :(

EDIT2: I downloaded new graphics drivers, and now it does the original crashing thing again. Heeeeeeeeelp :(

MB and CB are codenames for PS releases... current release is MB, devs are now working on CB features...

run the Updater, then if the game still doesn\'t work, I am sorry but we can\'t do anything for you YET.
