what?

i don't see why bullying is a problem. until it gets violent, it's simply acting immature. i always ignored or laughed at "bullies" and never really had problems. and when they are violent, it's easier to take punches and watch them piss themselves when they realise how pathetic they are. if they're good fighters, which is uncommon, use a quick take down... just don't try to get them back. that would be stooping to their level. so, to deal with "bullies", treat them like oversized toddlers.

seriously, i'm not catering to LGBT's helpless whims. if they actually cared, they'd stand up for themselves.

and i'm not being insensitive. as a girl, i've seen lots of prejudice and violence and whatnot relating to sexism. but i deal with it myself and don't whine like a coward. you can't just ask for equality. you have to be equal.

omg i'm tired nighty

Oh I did this :) but the problem is a lot of kids aren't mature enough.

My friend got really frustrated and stopped doing it because people kept asking if she was les (which she is not). And really some people don't get it :/ a lot of people kept yelling at participators to say something. I explained to them that people choose when they talk during the day (i.e. participate only during lunch). Then they just ignore what I say and obnoxiously start saying I'm talking.

Good grief it was a frustrating day. But, I participated for personal reasons.

Sorry, just had to put my input into it.

Anyways anyone else doing frustrating tests? I have the PSSAs....

LESBIAN!

they day is immature itself. i bet it makes tolerance worse. most kids won't understand the meaning of the day, they'll just think it's stupid to stay quiet, they'll submit to peer pressure and accuse whoever of non-straightness, and it all ends up reinforcing intolerance. the mature thing to do for this cause is to actually doing something. not yearly. daily. all the time. like standing up against bullying whenever you see it.

Uhh no.

Heh, the only time I see people hatin' on each other is when they're beating up each other. Not much I can do about that (except get teachers but that's about it)

What's this ? They're saying your a lesbian if you act intelligently ?
Heh heh ...

Well, I think what this boils down to is people wanting someone to pick on.
The guilty feelings take away from the fun of picking on someone so they alienate
you by calling you something that they oppose. Now that your on "the other side"
they can pick on you without feeling guilty.

OMG I had the weirdest dream about school last night. The entire school was on a giant ship, and the seas were rough and thunderstormy. I had many classes on the third floor, so I fell down like 20 times in the dream. Then there was how everybody was a crappy magician, and they kept doing magic tricks in front of me that never worked. My backpack was invisible and so was everybody else's. I kept failing all my tests this one day, so that wasn't good.  ??? Anyways, what a weird dream.

@Dralion: Sticking to your personal beliefs and holding onto them no matter what goes on around you is a little thing called integrity, and that is a characteristic of a hero, or in your case a heroine.  :D

Geoni, that's one fascinating dream. If you don't mind me asking, how did you feel about the backpacks disappearing ?

Frustrated?, worried, msytified, or was it just a curious oddity ?

Regarding the turbulent sea,how did you feel about it ? Were you like "oh cool" or like "oh sh*t, help!"

Oh the backpacks dissapearing was annoying, and everybody in school was annoyed by it because they had to find the zipper.
The turbulent sea didn't scare me but I didn't think it was cool Perhaps this dream was a dream of annoyances.
