Does anyone like Battle For Wesnoth?

Well, i've heard some players like to play battle for wesnoth i like this game because of it offers us strategic choices :)

Can you tell me do you like to play it and give me a reason why

so i can know your opinion about this game :detective:

Geesh, it's been a while since I've played it. It's quite a cool game imo. They usually have the usual fantasy storylines, but it's fun to try out different strategies to reach the goal of the level. Strategy ain't my best thing unfortunately (I die...a lot). Most of the time I use the DLC and play battles against myself (shush it's what I do) creating little scenarios in my head.

Overall, a really enjoyable RPG strategy game ^_^

I liked it when I played it, although I'm no big fan of strategy games (they may just amuse me for a while.)
I don't really remember why, but I remember I found it rich enough in terms of features, and pleasant to the eye.
And I guess it probably has improved since then...

Really? I got really far on an old version of wesnoth (think I lost the save :() Got up to where he met the princess I think. I like the old pictures they used, I don't like too many of the new ones.

i like it. its an well done strategy, not easy, great atmosphere.
unfortunately since i started planeshift i do not play it anymore ;)

The multi-player server caught my gaming addiction for some time. It reminded me of what was going on in my head when playing chess as a youth.

Not being a gamer I'd never heard of it, but I read this and decided to have a go. I really like it. Along with all the strategy malarkey I like the change of pace to some of the scenarios and the little storylines that keep things fun.

It's stat-tastically involved, but is well presented and after a short while it all makes sense.

RL has me a million miles away from RP atm and this is a great way to pass time and stir up a few brain cells.

I played BfW for about 3 years before I discovered PlaneShift, but now I have a little problem with compiling the 1.8.x version. Anyway, I will not give up, but I don't have much time now to play both PS and BfW - RL needs are taking 95% of my free time
