These are the RULES for the battle event to be known henceforth as:
"THE CHAMPION'S CUP"
THE following will be allowed:-
* Magic
* Enchanted Weapons
* All Potions
* Hiring of assassins, mercenaries and
bodyguards
* Inter-guild treaties, together with any
other available strategy or tactic imagin-
able that will ensure the victory of your
guild, so long as they occur within the
confines of the chosen battle area....
ALL combatants must be in the combat zone 15 minutes before the battle begins so that enemies can be targeted, tactics finalised and deals made.
Mounts will not be allowed as this is considered to be cruelty to animals.

Last Meal and Sacred Cleansing Ritual
NO later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the battle, a last meal will be served to all combatants. Eat heartily in order to keep up your strength for the forthcoming battle.
FOR those religious combatants, sacred winch well water will be provided for a ritual cleansing before battle commences. Depending upon availability, a priest or priests of different faiths will be on hand to assist those with this ritual. if you have special needs in regard to your own faith, then please bring your own priest to assist you.
ON the day of the battle - at the chosen location - "The Champion's Cup" will be placed on the earth for all to see. At a given signal, combat will start. When members of only one guild remain, the Champion's Cup willl be unguarded and taken by the victors. Their guild name will be inscribed into the Book of Honour.
AFTER one month the Champion's Cup will be placed once more into the area of combat and battle will recommence.
