No.  It is a show up event.  But you must represent a Guild.  if you don't have a guild, then you may join one temporarily as a mercenary.

Well, Asiek won because he has tons of potion >.<

Anyone can have tons of potions.  Potions alone don't make you a winner.  And who is counting the number of potions other warriors carried?  Don't tell me Maisent you are too poor to buy potions.  Besides, I thought you were bringing food with you.  Didn't you cook enough.....?

Lol, not enough apparantly

No.  Just show up half an hour before the start.  A Last Supper is served at that time and a ceremonial washing.  Then all competitors must be in the pit 15 mins before battle commences.  Any later comers will be disqualified.  15 minutes beforehand it is important that you make sure you can target and attack someone.  A non lethal attack will do.  Then Sir Hangatyr, our referee, will give the 'start' signal at the appropriate time.

I have great pleasure in informing the people of Yliakum that the Octarchy has endorsed "The Champion's Cup" by giving the organisers a special cup for the event.

This magnificent and very special Cup is now engraved with the words "The Champion's Cup" and it's description reads: Trophy for the Champion of the Guild War series"

LONG LIVE THE OCTARCHY AND THEIR DIVINE WISDOM.  \\o//

Thank you for those kind words.  But from my own personal experience I can say that each Cup is different.  And the event is governed largely by its participants.  So thank YOU for attending and helping to make it a good time for all.

It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of this month's Champion's Cup........  Our Lady Bonifarzia representing her guild "The Order of Light".

Boni has been a great player every month and well deserves this honour.  Her guild will hold the Cup until next month.  Enjoy!!   \\o// \\o//

I would like to thank everyone who attended to the games. It was a wonderful surprise to see far more brave souls enter the pit than expected, and most of the battle turned out to be sporting and fair. It is also astounding to note that even though the setting of these games highly encourages teamplay and coordinated attacks, a single warrior still has the fair chance to turn the tides and make his or her way to the cup. My special thanks go to all friends who supported a fair battle, especially Saili from the warriors guild.
