New faster RP Server!

We have just moved our roleplay server to a better and faster one!! Many thanks to Fragnetics, who have hosted our main server for many years with a friendly and seamless service!

That server will remain available for us as a development server, so our great relationship with Fragnetics will continue!

The new server is donated by Skylab and it's located in Europe. All european players will experience a major improvement compared to the old server located in Singapore . To use the new server, just update your clients and you will see in the servers list a server named "skylab". Enjoy!!!

What about the Americans? Does it work faster for us? I thought we were the rulers of the world.

For Americas the improvement will be mainly in the hardware, the ping times will stay relatively similar (~230ms). For europe we go from ~600ms to ~50ms ! The new hardware is faster and has more RAM, so overall also American players will have some benefits.

Our accounts have all been migrated over to the new server.

from europe my average ping was around 400ms, and lag was mainly due to client (pc) problems. I look forward to experience the new server location.

Fragnetics will not be available anymore for players, it's superseded by the new one. So accounts are only on the new one, all migrated, same for chars, items, etc... Everything is exactly like you left it on fragnetics.

I can't play then though...

I open PSLaunch and it tells me I have an update but I have to run as admin.  I don't have the admin password, and my parents won't see the point in ptting me on the administrator account for "some stupid game"  

if that what it means by admin...


Correction:  The update worked fine, its was only on one of my accounts that it messed up for some reason...  I ran the update and I'll try it and see if it works now.  The question is still out there though, I want to be able to play!!!!!

I assume that americas too will find a better connection speed. for some players ping time passed from 250ms to 130ms average.
still I experience some lag in some scenarios as before, so I think I'll blame my client/computer for that.

ping for me in the US has ALWays been around 200-300, idk what it is on the new server hoewver, since the update isnt working, i was going to check real fast, since a friend couldnt work the update either but it would update a single "item" then the whole psluanch thing just closes, a similer thing happen when we switched from 5.2 to 5.3 [i think that was the update..]

Seriously, what are you Americans complaining about, when it doesn't affect you. Here in New Zealand, where things are relatively close to Singapore, I enjoyed som good ping times, now I won't. But I'm not griping, and yet you gripe because the change doesn't leave you better than before, just the same.
