« on: May 04, 2010, 11:16:23 pm »
Hi fellows and felons :) . A new neophyte here.

Is there a way to see a map of the area ingame?

Thanks for your attention.

EDIT: Is Alchemy really not available?

Long answers:

a) Map: Almost no. But hey, the world is very small yet - just 4 places you could call city or similar. Especially if you try to do quests, you will get to know them in a few months (and as a player of an MMORPG, you surely expect to keep playing for several years...). There is one NPC who sells a very simple, almost useless map of the city (which doesn't display your position on it even). Some players made more detailed maps and sell them sometimes on markets. The game policies don't allow maps from places inside the game being offered in public outside the game (but as member of a guild, you might have a chance to get some secretly).

b) Alchemy is being developed. Development is a slow process (especially if it is done without payment and in leisure time only). I am quite certain that the code basis for alchemy is already in preparation, if not even already in the server code; but it will still need a lot of database content with rules about possible transformations of items, and surely also some 2D and 3D art to actually see the items to handle.
